It really is! heh blue lights would be nice, but I expect we'll get silver/chromey ones like Sideswipe's. If so, could always but a fine blue wash over them?

I shall! They were rather tasty if I remember correctly. Surely Tesco or Sainsburys stock them, both are close to my Argos.

I prefer Inferno to Grapple for this mold, but S1 only so Grapple it is   The addon kit will fix most of my problems anyhow. Artfire's a weird one- he looks good, but I have no idea who the guy is.

I hope it's another free listing weekend again this weekend too. Got some stuff I'd like to relist that didn't go last time (despite HEAPS of watchers. WTF??) and I should probably list my S3 stuff too.

 

Possibly, would still have the glass look but have a blue tint. Might look quite good that......

I'd be interested in the BotCon stuff (dependant on price), but my cash is tied up until my March pay, and I imagine you want the cash before that.

 

To be honest, the hassle with shipping it plus the eBay fees, would probably make it worth it to wait till March if you are interested.

Finally got round to pre-ordering Car Crash and the first set of MP tapes, Rumble & Ravage.

 

@Masterblaster - those old chestnuts of money and space. Both overrated I've found! Red Alert has tipped me slightly over the edge into s2, smokescreen will be the second so it's not looking good.

Awesome work on this, really looks the part. It really needs those blue lights that TB has edited on though. Forgive a stupid question but what paint would give a 'blue wash'?

Tamiya do a clear coloured line of paints.....I'm thinking x-23 will work best here......will keep it cartoon accurate but not lose the translucent light part.

Those Tamiya clear paints are fantastic.

I used the red to paint over the chrome and the yellow light in the head of my G1 Galvatron. It worked a treat and was still translucent.

Loving Quakewave, that thing is so posable. Keep acting out things from the comic and cartoon...sigh...really should grow up  

 

Hold him in one hand and MP Soundwave in the other.......then pose Quakewave's legs and then do the same to Soundwave....the difference is shocking. I took them round to a friends and he was literally aghast at the differences.

I knew you'd love him tho man, he's absolutely fantastic.

I was gonna say few light layers of blue massively thinned would do it, almost like a black wash/white wash. But that sounds more sensible and less likely to spoil things.

 

I must resist more bot shots...

 

I wanna get rid of all my bot shots, but don't wanna lose money on them. they were my gateway drug getting back in to tfs.

 

Don't sell them! They're great! Classic styling on movie designs, and don't forget you can actually game with them! Best thing to happen to the franchise last year!  

 

I've managed to resist Bot Shots so far. With the Generations stuff coming out, kinda glad that I have. Plus, Kreo minifgs are cooler.

 

Completely off topic here, but which companies do you guys use to get your TF's, I know of local ones like epicheroes and kapow but I'm more interested in foreign ones. I use robotkingdom but those guys usually slap heavy customs charges on my goods. And the rate at which we're getting MP's that will be a total waste of money!

Any suggestions?
