I can't see why they don't have the wit to repack SkyQuake in a new Beast Hunters Box. or to produce an "Exclusive" wave or some twin packs (Remember those Energon two packs with Armada Maxcons Starscream and Prowl in them) maybe with a repainted Bulkhead or Thundercracker let alone a Hasbro Nemesis Prime and a SkyQuake.

I keep thinking there is three possible reasons why Breakdown isn't released in Hasbro guise.

    1. He's to fragile and his ankles don't pass the drop test.
    2. He has no design for a Powerizer weapon
    3. He's to expensive for the normal Voyager price point.

If the problem is safety then he'll never get released - but if the issue is Price or the missing weapon then a gift set gets around that well enough.

Besides They have already shown the desire to do ludicrous repaints of Prime Weaponizers so I guess it's not unreasonable to do a silly repaint of some of the others (I.e. animal print Bulkhead or something similarly daft like that).

That snake pattern Cobra Python Patrol has on it might actually be rather fun for example.

Holiday, sounds a good guess. Or Baby related? An alternate theory for your innate happiness, could be that you have discovered a time portal using a torch and a slide like 'Jamie and the Magic Torch' back to a toy shop in the 80s? Oh, no, that was a dream I had.....

That Silverbolt is disappointing, can't believe that the entire alt-mold can be displayed seperately. Shame for those that bought him, although really like the Concorde idea you have all been floating - that sounds like a win.

Any advice on how to 'touch' up Sideswipe (ooh er ;)  ) - displaying the Countach
mode has reminded me just how bad the paint is on one side of it. Tried a red sharpie, which has helped but wondered if anyone knew the exact paint colour?

Hasbro said that Breakdown doesn't fit in with their current price structure. So either he's too big or complex for a Voyager, or just doesn't fit in their standard sized box in any mode.

There's no reason why he couldn't be an exclusive, but if there's rumblings of the show ending, stores may not be interested.

Find the nearest Lambo garage, pretend to be interested in a top of the line model, ask for a can of spray from the back garage? Wear a tie for this. :D

After months of waiting I just picked up my parcels for Masterpiece Soundwave, Starscream, Red Alert and Lambor's pile drivers. May the QC gods be with me when I get home and open them - I had a peek and can already see bits of missing silver on Laserbeak and a scratch of gold from soundwave's chest plate. No biggies there though. Fingers crossed :)

Won tickets to go watch the return of King Bill today at Forest. Its beer time...already.

Tequila, later. Got loads of mates up from brum when i get back too. I am getting messed up today.

Finally put up a load of bookcases last night, and liberated my tfs from thier cardboard prsons (they've been in there since I moved house last september)

I forgotten how great some of the chug figures are.

Although I seem to really dislike CHUG Prowl/bluestreak/Smokescreen now.

Traditionally, this is a dangerous place to be for me right now. I have spent a fair amount on stuff, but pretty much all of it is pre-orders. I have actually had Aveo Swerve and three Alternators (loose) that I already owned. April is shaping up to be an awesome month though. This leaves me in a combination of broke and with that plastic itch.... and I found myself at TRU.

I walked around hanging on to Blast Off for £9 for the entire time before putting him back on the pegs, and they also had 2 MP Primes and the FoC minidisc minions. But, I have heard so many bad stories about Blast Off that I couldnt take the risk, MP Prime looks lovely but I am not enthusiastic about him enough for £100, there was no Voyager Bulkhead (which I wasnt really expecting as he is a different wave), I have asked a friend to get me the FoC discs, and I have never once seen FoC Shockwave anywhere. I dont think that he really exists.

The adult in me was very pleased that I weathered this storm and let my head rule my wallet. The child inside is sulking in a corner and refusing to talk to anyone until he gets chocolate. I did find DotM HA Icepick MiSB in storage here, so that will have to provide this mornings fix.

soooo, what would make appropriate weapons to arm Aveo Swerve since he can't hold 5mm peg weapons?

Sounds like I've been very lucky with Taiwan then. Doubt I'll be trying my hand again though.

One of the reasons why Taiwan packages are hit so frequently is because the customs folk are looking for things other then our plastic crack, specifically they're looking for dried meat products that us Asians like to eat as snacks. Stuff like Pork Jerky and Chinese sausages but haven't pass the 'stringent' EU food safety laws *COU-HORSE-GH*. Anyway.

Skyquake, we're talking about TFP Skyquake right? The straight up repaint of TFP Dreadwing right? If they're the same I can't see safety or the lack of a Poweriswer weapon being the problem, just straight up reuse Dreadwings bits.

Without wanting to sound like a dick is because the Western economies are so shit is why they're not making them availible to us, it simply isn't worth Hasbros time to cater to us poor folk, those super rich Chinese are where its at. I suspect Hasbro Asia's figures are a hell of a lot more healthy then Hasbro US or UK, or even US/UK combined.

As to Lamborgini paint don't bother going to a Lamborgini garage to source paint, it'll be like that scene from Pretty Woman where you won't get served and everyone treats you with distain. I would suggest going online and finding out what kind of paint a Tamiya model kit uses. Might be worth going to or calling up a Model Zone shop?
