Oh and a correction to my previous speculation about VW Bee, I wonder if maybe they can keep using him for 're-releases' as this Premium Finish Bee is redeco re-release of the SS figure and some of the non SS Bee Movie VW figs have been re-released in Buzzworthy Bee but possibly the box set doesn't count as a re-release?
Or as I say, maybe they just wanted to do a non VW Bee.

Scenario   actually, an 'Altered fates' subline for Selects would be pretty cool, retools and recolours based on what if scenarios, like Transmetal Tigatron from a timeline where Tigatron and Airazor didn't become Tigerhawk. I suppose it could be a two-pack with an updated TM Airazor toy too.

Ooh! Predacon Airazor could be a cool concept too given how her debut episode revolved around trying to claim her Protoform.

Aaaand now I'm imagining an AU where Airazor was a Pred but the Maximals retrieved Blackarachnia's pod first so they switch places? Maybe she could have a colourscheme based on her... Cybertron was it? Design where an AU Airazor was one of Unicron's 'Horsemen'?

Not impossible but given the apparent extra mass of the chest, even without the extra pistols, I think that might mean TM Cheetor would also have to be in a box set due to being just outside the regular Deluxe budget. Is it me, or is Cheetor a really small deluxe compared to Arcee & the car bods?

VERY happy to see that Nemesis Primal isn’t using the vomit-inducing Universe colours but somewhat less chuffed that Bumblebee isn’t the rumoured Marvel colours lad. Oh well, he still looks decent enough. I will, however, be shifting Blackarachnia because, ew.

Speaking of, i may end up getting both Sunbow Galvatron and Galvatron II, but if i do that i won't have enough for house of fraser skylinx. Does it seem like theres any movement on those fraser orders? I don't wanna pay £40 and then wait six months for a Commander I'm only mildly interested in.

I think they could've enticed more folk to nab the set by doing him as a straight recolour of ER Cliffy for a Yellow Cliffjumper labelled "Bumblebee" than the Netflix head, OR if you want to go gonzo stick a G1 Toy homage head on the Runabout/Runamuck bod to have a twin-tyre-footed "Goldbug Bumblebee". Hasbro, call me!

Maybe I should applaud the effort in these mixed packs to get G1 fans into Beasts and BW fans into GeeWun, after all, today's society is all about celebrating diversity. But the cynic in me just sees this as shoehorning lines together, forcing us to pay a premium for figures we don't necessarily want, to get the ones we do. Sigh.

I really need to find a BW fan to BFF up with and split the costs of these multi-packs   My one collecting buddy I know in real life is more of a SW guy who only dabbles with TF's and has no interest in beasts, despite me trying to convince him!

If this pack isn't ludicrously overpriced, and/or mission impossible to get my hands on, I'll probably re-purpose 'Bee as Bumper like others have already suggested and flip the beasts.

Has anyone ordered the Micromasters from HOF? I'm curious as to what you actually get as it's not 100% clear from the listing. Likewise, the Leader lottery, from what I've read it seems to be Prime or Doubledealer but would be interested to hear if anyone gets an Astrotrain. That's a figure I wasn't happy to pay full rrp, but at the discounted price could bite.

I just got a confirmation from HOF that my order has been processed and is waiting for collection by courier. As have a number of others in the thread.

"We will confirm by email once your parcel has been collected by your nominated courier."

I nominate a courier that doesn't charge £4.99 then takes 3 - 7 days to deliver.

 

Mine has just updated - it was ready for shipping yesterday, and now I've just had an email saying that of Skylynx, Maverick and a Leader, the leader has shipped, and 'Any remaining items will be processed shortly.' whatever processed means - could be cancellation, I suppose, but they've taken the money, so...? I'll update if I get anything else through.

 

Come to think of it, regard the HOF voyagers, I don't suppose anyone knows how many there were to a box - I don't have Starscream yet, and I could do with a spare to replace the broken shoulder on my Thundercracker. Of course, if coronation Starscream is actually coming, I guess I only want one
