I had all the Iron Factory Phase Sixers to begin with but resold them and got the MFT versions as they came out due to the larger scale as I felt that works better.

MFT Overlord having a second head that's based on MMC Carnifex also helped as that headsculpt is one of my favourite on any Transformer.

    @Decepticreeps100,
Glad you like the pic! speaking of Harry Hill I reckon I could do the "stalactite, stalagmite that's how I remember 'em" thing with the hands on the two figures :D

Decided to take the plunge on the Gunpla thing. Turns out that actually buying them is even harder than trying to get hold of Transformers! Spent ages looking at them on Amazon, deciding which one to buy, only to discover that every one I was considering was from a Japanese seller and wouldn't be here for a couple of weeks at the earliest. Looking at actual UK retailers on Amazon and elsewhere, it looks like buying from Japan via Amazon is gonna be the cheapest option in the future, as long as I don't mind a wait.

Thanks to whoever put the Powertrain micromaster link in here to cards and games the other day... that’s another off the list before TFN. Also managed to get Blackjack from Amazon too, so that’s wave 3 and 4 sorted. Just the 10 pack to go now I think!

If anyone missed the Legacy Transformers packaging book, there is a softcover you can order from amazon for about £28 due in September I think. It is also available on pre order from comiXology for under £14...

4 days to go and I might be getting excited... well until I got annoyed by the idiotic timetabling and locations of the panels. I was looking forward to the IDW retrospective, but putting it an hour after the doors open on the morning each day will make it in prime buying toys spot, which is more than a little annoying. Will be interesting how many people actually go to them compared to if they had been later on in the day...

Mate, this is your fucking Mona Lisa. Incredible work. Absolutely incredible. And if anyone from Hasbro is watching, here's a retool for your designers to put out in WFC part 2 or 3.

Anyway, in better news I saw Toy Story 4 this weekend. I'd agree with the reviews - they didn't need to make it, but I'm glad they did. It's very enjoyable.

I've also set up a quick blog for my lightbox photos. Going to add a few more pics to existing posts, as well as some more personal words about why I like the toys in question, and play with the format, then I'll let it out into the open.

Well... is it? Because the schedule still says that the opening ceremony is at 9 and doors only open at 10, which is super confusing. So unless the opening ceremony is happening... outside? I would assume that the doors open at 9 for weekenders and 9:30 for filthy Saturday proles like myself.

Or have I still got it wrong and something even stranger and more mysterious is going on?

(also you've just reminded me of how gleefully happy you were getting carded G1 micromasters last year)

Kapow - they are sending out single orders right now. I might have mentioned this on Friday.

    Crakka Spam:

We have waited a bloody eternity for this.

    image.jpeg

He's a handsome lad for sure.

    image.jpeg

This is not a smirk. This is the result of a right Chibbing in a dark alley. It's got to go...........

    image.jpeg

Because just like when @Seeaich looks at a Titan, I look at these boys and think "just a few distinguishing touches....."

    image.jpeg

And that's how he'll/they will be in my collection........

    image.jpeg

Paint those peepers. Light piping isn't that great compared to others in the Siege stable, but it still works with this kind of poster paint on it.

    Ok.

Now send me Skywarp. You slags.

    Weekenders says 10am
    Day is 10:30

So who knows??? Maybe the 9am is an internal thing?

And ah yes the micromasters. They are still sealed until I can display them. Might go for something similar again this year if I can. Maybe a headmaster though... was my smile that big last year? :)

Does anyone here know if you buy the Hound/Bulkhead reprolabel/Toyhax set - do you get a green roof and a Black roof included as they show both in the pictures ?

Unless you meant Shockwave, that is way overpriced for a Soundwave.

That's another reason why it was better having the panels with the dealers. You could have a browse and still most likely be able to hear what was being said.

Lol. Love the monkey photobomb. That Cracker sure looks like a sexy mofo.

Yeah, I suspect down once again to Her Maj's Revenue Bottom-manhandlers Import Tax shenanigans that UK prices have to be that way to give them any kind of margin maybe? HLJ has thus far been my go-to usually offering the lowest price on the bits I'm after, apart from using PlazaJapan one time as they had some parts in stock when HLJ was out of them. They were slightly more expensive but still comparable.
Pretty sure it's green with Bulkhead and black for Hound, that's what their respective Toyhax site galleries show.
    GLORIOUS stuff, Motorpope!
They've really gone full Sunbow on the colours, it's just dawning on me now how much the metallic blue of the G1 toy is ingrained in my mental image of the big 'Cracker, if they stuck out a Siege Tetrajet in that it could be my breaking point, non-Earth mode and all!

@nice sideburns belated happy birthday squire!

I have a OG Battle Tanker I'd be willing to part with dude if that'll help you scratch that particular itch!

fuck me sideways - I'd written out a mad reply to a number of different messages from the weekend, and it seems to have just disappeared! Bah! So to sum up

@Rotorstorm Your Thunderclash highlights that you continue to do the work Hasbro should be doing!

@motorthing You lucky sod! Nice TC

@doucoo only 28 pages behind, that shows true dedication....

@Danbot I had no idea Fort Max made it to London! Doubt he ever crossed the Irish Seas! Like everyone else, visiting N.Ireland in the 1980's wasn't his idea of a good time :p

@Skjalddis that was a lovely story about your mum! She is good people! As is your girlfriend, that Autobot Sigil is immensely awesome.

@tikgnat Loved the history of Shitbot. But seriously though - someone was trying to sell fruit on here?

@Seeaich The Fort Max Rumpus Room is shaping up quite nicely!

Yes! another Gunpla newbie! I built my first (HGBD GBN Base) a couple of days ago. It was really fun. Totally feeling your pains about getting kits you want.

I've also bought a ton of Gundam markers and Metallic paints to try my hand at customising. Next up: MS18 Kampfer
