Just to be an arse I'd argue in this case that Rolling Thunder Prime is, as he's a big bad bastard, but I absolutely see your point.

There's an odd train of thought you pick up on in that forum and on the groups that the Generations scale is dead, but when we move out of 3P we can see that really isn't the case.

All 3P does by and large is chase money anyway, so it'll be interesting to see if we start seeing gear to complement the success of the Siege reboot. Siege is successful, right?

    Steel Sisterhood.

    image.jpeg

Been to see it, the projector didn't catch fire, there were no evacuations, just a pretty packed Cinema all somehow coping with the fact that a GURL was the headliner. Won't spoil any of it but I loved the tribute to Stan and all the rest of it was great. It all worked, dots have been joined and the players are now on the board for Endgame. Which has an almost impossible expectation level now. Can it deliver?

Fingers, toes and all other body-appendages crossed.

One of the Marvel films where I exited with a spring in my step and a Cheshire Cat grin, even if we didn't get a Kree Sentry! It wasn't until someone else stated it that I realised Samue L. literally just stepped back into his 90s Action sidekick role like a pair of comfy slippers, and the de-aging effect is getting scary good!

Mild disappointment to find that the limbs & gun parts are not swappable after all (yes, it's only now it occurred to me to try it) but I have finally figured out you can do a 'long gun' mode...
    DSC_0046.JPG DSC_0045.JPG
...so Firedrive II might end up as Recoil I.
Blowpipe II, well, his fate is undecided. Blowpipe I will get his effect part(s) so Lionizer can keep his alternate gun blast, and he's been a pretty good proof-of-concept for how to gun-mode Caliburst BUT what or who to do with him I haven't figured out yet.

Also spruced my Jungle Planet Cyber Key for Primus...
    DSC_0047.JPG
...rather Swag, if I say so myself!

Now I'm going on a bear hunt!

I don’t think you’d regret it, built like the proverbial brick shithouse & lots of play options, particularly if you’ve got some dianauts or titan masters to hand. I considered the Camo deco but in the end, I opted for the traditional op colour scheme.

I'm getting the feeling I may have missed the boat on this one. It does look tremendous in Hero deco. I may jump on the Camo version just because.......it's the one Kapow still have.

Having done the come down routine of the Weekly Shop after Cinema I'm struck (Struck!!) by how little of interest is currently out at Retail for the likes of us. Unless you're lucky enough to have an actual Toy Shop/Smyths on your doorstep the Sainsburys and Asdas have little to no action figures. And only Toddler TFs. Lots of Lego (which is good up to a point) but no Captain Marvel that the next generation coming out of just seeing the film could pick up and take home. This is both sad and daft.

Just had a look in the Movies/TV threads (don't usually have the time or patience for "My Universe is better than yours!" Bullshit) and surprise surprise surprise, all the Wankers using terms like Woke and SJW are already on my ignore list. I have good taste.......sometimes.

I suspect, if such a head exists, you'll be better off looking in the Fantasy/Age of Sigmar line; more specifically Chaos Marauders.

Beautiful fully painted silver alt mode

    C2FB2832-0100-430B-90BA-7DFEF665FECD.jpeg

Complete with space for two titanmasters

    CBCA8E42-1B45-47E0-B330-76FD4D39EE91.jpeg

Speaking of, at a glance at least, his Titan master form is unique

    86556B18-7FE8-4DD6-861C-F258F1BF2994.jpeg

Obviously the body is compatible with any TR head

    7CD9B141-F7D4-4A59-8EAB-D85BBFD2D94C.jpeg

Bot mode again with the nice silver none of that horrid “””””weathering””””” that was on the original and wasn’t uniform throughout

    ACE90424-06EC-4150-8FC5-9B29CEDFB2FD.jpeg

Back doesn’t clean up particularly well tho

    57937697-7E0B-49C1-B51B-9AC51963CA36.jpeg

And on my copy at least ALL the joints (save the knees) are loose, not so loose he can’t stand or pose but not at a tightness I like CB7F3878-297C-4DD8-88B5-B53803BC975E.jpeg

Still tho I’m glad we got this version as I have never seen the og on shelves here, and I really do prefer this deco

Lemme kno if u need to know anything else

Aye! Their City Commander is a dead ringer for Robby Musso's Spotlight design and Lord Scorpion is pretty spot on to his appearance in that comic too. First out of the gate with Griffiths' Cybertronian Prowl too. Lovely stuff.

Taking of diaclone compatible stuff, any interest in these bits?

Action Fleet Starship troopers TAC Fighter and Turret set lot. Diaclone figures do fit inside, but it's a bit of a squeeze. Oh, and the missiles aren't original either (they're from a StarWars AF set). £25 Posted. Action Fleet Death Star and Rebel base. Neither complete, £35 posted the pair.

Yep, Age of Sigmar is probably the best place to look, although there are a few Imperial Guard minis that might do the trick. Some of the dwarves (Fireslayers/Kharadron Overlords) might be worth looking at.

You can often pick up individual heads on ebay, so that'd probably be worth a trawl too - some of the older minis may pop there.

This is a public service announcement (without guitars! ;) ).
So I'm in ASDA and I have a look in the pile of stock that passes as the toy aisle. I notice that they have restocked the Botbots, so have a look for the pack I actually want, but alas, all they have are packs with doubles   I walk further down and see another pack tossed in with the blind bags. Result, it's the one I want!!! :D  I don't know what made me check, but I had a feel of the red bonus bubble. It felt empty. Turned the pack over, looks sealed. But it wasn't. Some arsehole had carefully opened it, taken the bonus figure and closed it back up:mad:  as there was no staff around, I crushed the red bubble and left the back open so if anyone else picks it up it should be obvious it's been tampered with.

TL : DR people are gits.

Now that's not on, me or one of my kids have been hungry and eaten something whilst shopping, but we've made sure the cashier scans the empty wrapper. Besides ready salted is the only decent flavour of Ruffles;)

Cliffjumper is also looking very close to how he appeared in All Hail Megatron and a couple of the Spotlights, they're so good at nailing the IDW aesthetic that I'm hoping the new Ultra Magnus with Minimus is the first in a series of Lost Lighters.

If they ever make Blurr I hope they go for how he looked in his Spotlight as the alt mode was inspired by the original G1 but different enough to stand on it's own and I was always disappointed that the Generations figure went for the Earth mode.

I love me some Cybertronian Nissans, really excited for the upcoming blue Bluestreak as that colour scheme is so nice.
