Totally. I think, in just about every way, he really shows off the strengths of the current Generations line; smart transformations, stays true to the original models while updating the engineering and sculpting. Total joy!
HASBRO, DON'T FUCK THIS UP FOR WfC!!!

    Cheers Rob!

Hench is a brilliant figure and that's a brilliant price. Someone should jump on this!

    That's lovely!

Urgh! So on the fence with this guy, with intense creeping discomfort. Like, I don't actually like the Primal figure that much, but I gots to have those Prime Masters and I love that throne for display. nnnnnnngggnnnn. Not even having a hint of the price is adding to the discomfort. Well, I'm applying for a couple of jobs within the Uni with better pay, so maybe if I get those I can justify it? Except the interview's won't be until August and then he'll be gone. NNNNNNNNNNGGGNNNN!
If there's an SDCC reveal for those Prime Masters getting released in another way, like a Walgreens exclusive with actual decoy armour, then I'll feel better about passing on the lad.

Speaking of Prime Masters, these guys just arrived. I had some reservations about all three of them when I saw the reveals, but having them in hand I really love 'em.
I think Bludgeon and Octopunch might be the finest 'decoy suits' of the Prime Masters. They're stunning in hand. I've even forgot that I'm cross about Octopunch not having scary monster teeth. I'm still a bit sad that Bomb-burst's head is so small, but it is an exquisite little sculpt. The detail on all three of these is really stunning.
Love that Megatronus has some paint detail on him. It's a pity Quintus has none. My solus has floppy, floppy knees, but is great otherwise.
It'll be a real shame if these are the last three decoy suits.

    Wow, just wow.

    With an extra wow.
Really well done, high quality thick card, feels like I got them from a store shelf.

Take a bow @tikgnat , these cards are top trumps on another level.

So, when do we get season 2 :lol

So i 'officially' asked ebay to step in about my KP MP Megs, the seller is on this boards dodgy list, that combined with his lack to responses to my requests mean I want my money back,

If by some miracle the item arrives then I will send him the money back

Bot of the day is Ol' Sinnertwin.

The Terrorcons were so underutilised that, aside from Blot's appearance in the Headmasters mini-series and 'Headhunt', all my memories of them come from those opening scenes of the first episode of Time Wars. So, beautifully rendered by Andy Wildman, Sinnertwin stood behind Rippersnapper as he seemed to have most of the fun.

I always think of the Terrorcons as having ridiculously garish deco's, but having just got Blot and Rippersnapper out for a play I'm struck by how sober they look. Sure Hun-grr has some big chunks of lurid magenta, but even that's a highlight on a largely grey and white toy. It just turns out that Sinnertwin has out glammed his team so bad that he's kind of managed to elevate most of the rest of them. That rich yellow with those teal and lavender highlights! It's majestic eyesore. Just to remind you, we're three years away from the 90's.

In robot mode Sinnertwin is neither the worst nor the best of the Terrorcon limbs. He's got all the stupid flaws of the others; stupidly stumpy, but oddly wide, arms, massive beast legs hanging off him, and sort of generic featurelessness, but he's not as absurd looking as Blot.

His monster mode is probably the weakest of the gang, but not for lack of ambition. Now, I should say that I think it's a bit of a misstep two have a limb bot that's a two headed monster when the boss is already one. Inevitably he comes off as both redundant and inferior when considered alongside Hun-grr. But judged in isolation he's a great little monster. Where he falls down is the lack of paint apps on his head. Heads. And that's such a shame because the detail on the mold are nice, and just need a dash of colour on the mouth and eyes to really bring that detail out.

I wasn't expecting that much from Power of the Primes Sinnertwin. He seemed like a redo of Snarl that removed most of the interesting detail. While the other Terrorcons have managed to get some extra character and fun injected in, Sinnertwin is left as a rather bland and generic robot, colour scheme aside. Even his face lacks the character that the rest of the gang now have.

Luckily the monster mode more than makes up for it. They've really got some mileage out of the twin heads. Unlike the originals, I think this is a better two headed monster than Hun-grr. Not only is there a range of articulation in the neck(s) and jaw(s), but the beastie looks rrrrreally angry. That is a deep scowl on his brow!

The heads also have plenty of paints apps to bring the heads to life. Angry red eyes, silver teeth (only on the top jaw mind) and big purple horns (Don't. We're better than this). The only thing that's a little confusing is that they've opted to lose the lavender tails for more teal. It feels like a bit of a pity as I think it'd tie the colour scheme together rather nicely to have that colour, tops and tails.

See, for me those are the best combiners. I have Bruticus and Abominus in set groups but I love the custom combiners like Elita even more.

From what most of the folk have experienced on the Chinese eBay seller thread is that you get a much quicker solution if you contact Paypal in the first instance rather than eBay.

Wow, not sure I've seen anyone with Autotarn before. The official pics made the bot mask look almost feline, but up close it doesn't seem so bad.

Having no connection to Tarn but liking the mould in general I decided to go for the Asterisk version, yeah I could've gone for Thunderclash but again, I have no connection to the character at all and the backpack put me off a bit.
Box was spittle small, Al let disappointingly small until it occurred to me he was packed in alt mode :lol . Really like the colour break up on this version too and the Autobot mask is kinda creepy.

@barry Well, Jell of your tiny guys (even though Bludgeon & Octopunch being in each other's colour bugs me - Oh, Bollocks! Just realised that if they get Special Editions I bet they'll be transclearant versions painted the right wee bot mode colours, innit?) as mine are gonna be about a day or so behind Blast Off. Who should be here TODAY!! WOOT!

I gotta have that Damned Dirty (Retail Stunt) Ape because that's the deco I always wanted Optimal OP in, I have the awful suspicion that those wee Prime Masters are the standard decos apart from No.13 (mainly because the Special Edition Prima is coming with Repugnus). That doesn't mean the Primes with no Special Eds so far won't get some kind of Special Edition release of their own though (hopefully with the lost Decoy Suits)!

    OOOH! Doorbell - HE'S HERE!!!

So my most recent purchase is......

    IMG_20180621_205014_613.jpg

Guess I should stop dragging my heels and finally learn to drive.

To help fund lessons, anyone want a full set of all six Planet X Dinobots in slightly used (read: owned by a clumsy bastard) condition?

It's a tank.....thing. I guess it's no worse than a lot of the other "Cybertronian" alt modes, it's got treads and a big rotating gun on top so it's tank like at least, transformation is quick, simple and pain free which is always a plus.

And something has just occurred to me....

    Asterisk Tarn is.....

    DING DONG!!!

The wave 3 Prime Masters are pure joy Chris. I thought Skullgrin was peak Prime Master, then I saw Submarauder, then I saw Octopunch and Bludgeon. Innerbot irritation aside, I think you're going to love them when you get your mits on 'em.
I think you might be onto something with the special editions (and you know I love this sort of thinking). Solus is coming with Repugnus, right? and We're getting Prima with Punch/Counterpunch. So what about Quintus?

*Pushes your glasses even further up*

That's why I said "holding page" not "pre-order page", and a notification request form for a pre-order is a whole chunk of the reason my "This is gonna be 'Spensive" Alarm is blaring because that seems very testing-the-waters of interest before taking a punt at stocking & unit pricing.

@barry We now know that Onyx in the Predders set is considered a Special Edition, and he's premium painted not transclearant so you could be right about them all being considered Special Edition figures and Prima's getting two for....reasons? Besides 13 they do seem rather simple decos to be the Special Editions though so, if the Throne of Primes fellas aren't considered SEs by Hasbro, then that's 8 other potential weans to be transclearantised (if we discount 13 as being a single release Special Ed I suspect him to be 'cuz he appears to have the most paint out of the four). Come on, Hasbro, gi' us a set with SUITS!!!

Come on, Wave 3 Weekend! Much excite, Mr. B, you're really stoking me anticipation!

Not confident about slapping paint on a fresh-out-of-the-box Special Edition, I have opted for a cautious silver Sharpie-ing for now...

...but, DAYUM, if this doesn't feel GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

    Yes, yes it does.
Take-Off can get in the bin! B/O even holds the G1 rifle better, with no need to angle the fist to fit!
It does amuse me that the most aloof member of the Combaticons has the blingingest HFG! :lol

    Roll on Repuggles! Monster, Monster!
