    We've all been there.

I think this might be your best yet. Not just saying that because of massive personal connection to that there issue.

Personally I thought that was just because we're getting closer to the end of Roberts story. It wouldn't surprise me if we've only got another 18 months left. It feels a bit like the 2nd half of Batman Incorporated, in as much as all ducks are being lined up in a row.

Don't scar the lad. Some things are better left unknown.

So today I bid farewell to MP Prowl and Smokescreen and the Fanstoys Insecticons. It was only after I'd packed them away and sealed up the box that I realised I wouldn't be seeing them again and hadn't had any sort of proper goodbye and wasn't that bothered. I suppose that's as clear an indication as any that I'm doing the right thing by selling up.

Part of me gets a little chuckle out of thinking how annoyed our "3P=Bootleg. ONLY MP Shockwave is real" friends would be when I told them that I'm only keeping Quakewave and MP Grimlock.

I haven't read Lost Light yet but now I'm terrified. Seriously, those books are the reason I'm so invested in Transformers. As much as I don't want them to end, I'd rather they go out on a high instead of slowly running it into the ground for the sake of continuation.

Also, UT's AOE/TLK Prime looks fantastic, which only makes me want Peru Kill more. Quickly, someone perform reverse enablement on me! :D

    Cheers dude, much appreciated :)

Really enjoyed doing this one, can't go wrong with giant robot dinosaurs fighting. The whole Dinobot hunt arc is one that i've a massive attachment to as well, in fact i'd say it was the storyline that got me properly into TF comics.

@Maz - you've got a high bar to clear to outdo your usual efforts but that is bloody stunning work. The top pic may indeed be your Top Pic. Just beautiful.

Right, having made the mistake of opening a cupboard that's been sealed shut for yonks and had TWO FP Revolvers literally fall into my hands upon doing so I think it's a sign from the gods to do the right thing and release a few bits from captivity:

Anyone want these three £140 + post? I'm going to FB them for more if no one is fussed here.

    image.jpeg

Also pondering selling my spare igear Conehead Raptors. It's a huge box and I'm not sure I need to keep spares of something I'm not even that fond of. Any interest in those?

The one thing that stops a wholehearted clear out (apart fro laziness) is the sure and certain knowledge that is he is in London fucking Altermore will try and get his hands on stuff I'm usually knocking out at mates-rates. That's to be avoided.

    Lovely, lovely Monster boy!

Forgot to post who also got some eyeballs yesterday.

Poor wee Fengul was looking a bit blind or actually eyeless but on closer inspection I could see he did have them sculpted in so a tiny bit of Autobot Blue filler worked a treat!

This Tyrantron really is stunning to look at, but I am not sold on its posability due to the restricted ankles and that huge cannon, and the alt modes are not doing anything for me either.

Same man. I came in around the end of 'headless Prime/Shockwave' storyline and, while I was definitely hooked already, it wasn't until 'The Icarus Theory' that I fell totally in love. Hence the Avatar.
Which reminds me how psyched I am that we're getting Generations versions of Grimlock, Slag and Swoop (SWOOP!) before the end of the year. I just know they're going to be high up my 2017 top ten before I've even held 'em.

I really do think Hasbro got the deco spot on with these two. Look at the way those eyes just shine!

It seems a more skilful application than it is, a wee blob of paint dabbed in the detail recess general area by pin, then quickly (but carefully) remove the excess whilst still wet. I wouldn't try in with paint that wasn't water-based though, the solvent medium in water-based doesn't seem cut into pre-applied paint as quickly/harshly.

Before I attempt a Return on him here is the damage on current Twin Twist's waist, documented for posterity because it still seems weird.
Here's the left side where Mystery Hole #1 just misses the locking nub (circled):
    Screen Shot 2017-10-26 at 10.30.15.png

And on the right side where Mystery Hole #2 has pretty much obliterated the locking nub...
    Screen Shot 2017-10-26 at 10.30.57.png

...plus I don't think the semi-circular little "bites" out of the slot lip sides that correspond to the holes are helping either.

The Mystery Holes are odd in that they look quite smooth and don't appear to be drilling damage, they look smooth-sided more like heat-incurred damage BUT there was some plastic detritus in there, which I thought was the culprit so removed and binned without documenting unfortunately, which did look a bit like the material waste you'd get from drilling.
My best guess is a moulding error that has slipped through QC.

Excellent, with each purchase my Dark Power increases.

Once I've let my wallet cool down I have...plans for Cogman.

Trying to be patient and see if he gets a little cheaper, though, as not paying so much for a custom figure lessens the "S*** I GOTTA GET THIS RIGHT.OH GOD, I HOPE THIS DOESN'T GO WRONG!" stress level.

So FansToys Koot is out then?

I would love a masterpiece style Kup to complement Rodimus... Is this the one?

And Kapow had sold out so maybe it's not for me after all :(

They mark them as sold out just until they have completed the pre order shipping, then they make more available as general stock. They are also at a show and doing stock take i think so it'll be a few days before they update with the general stock I'd guess.

    All the best

Do keep in mind, Koot stands shorter than MP-9 and a little taller than MP-28.

@Art Vandelay P.S.- You didn't hear it from me but a fairly reliable little bird tells me that a Toyhax conversion set could be in the pipeline for said repurpose I have sold you on, if painting is not your bag that is, of course.

Legends Triggerhappy has just dropped at AmiAmi so that's going to be on the way. Huzzah!

I imagine that means over here should be seeing him tout suite too.

And I've had an actual letter (yes those old, archaic pieces of typeset paper folded inside an envelope and delivered to the door by some sort of postal system - I had to look it up on Google too) from some Bod in the Italian Post Office - all in impenetrable Italian of course - which I can only assume is something to do with my MIA Diaclone enquiry. The nerve, writing in their native tongue! I shall leave the EU immediately .........or very slowly, painfully and messily in protest.

Anyway efforts to translate haven't shed much light, five paragraphs long which seems to be a bit excessive to tell me 1. They've found it. 2. They haven't found it. 3. We don't have a clue what you're on about. 4. Fuck off please.

Bearing in mind the vendor was AE I'm beginning to get that sinking feeling that I'm going to be out £120 worth of gear here. Not that easy to just walk that off.

    Oh dear.

Ah that's ok... MP-9 is dead to me now and I'll use perspective to make Rodimus seem taller ;)
