And I've bookmarked every Shapeways TF-related page I've found. Some have already been mentioned, some are here at 2005, some aren't....

What about the rest of the from the armada/energon area that don't turn into guns? I wouldn't mind seeing some type of minicon port to 3mm clip adapter or something so they can powerlink to these newer RTS/Generation figs that have c joints/makeshift c joints.

Let's create a whole new generation of Target Masters and Power Masters.

would like them all if swindle's gun had the flares on the top and bottom of the barrel, always thought that's what made his gun unique

@brr-icy- I always figured that flare was excess plastic? I'll add a version with the flare later in the week!

@zannus- Depends on what you're doing with it. If it's intritcately detailed then frosted detail or ultra-detail is good (though a tad fragile), if it's for a custom either transparent detail for decent detail or white strong and flexible for average detail items and large things.

As long as you don't order a detail or ultra detail version of a really small model, I think it's preference.

Personally I wanna see what WSF polished looks like!

I bought a handful of stuff last month, the chainsaw targetmaster, decepticon symbol mace, nw hands for leader prime, depth charge head for animated Starscream.

I love both the mace and chainsaw. The other parts are for customs I'm doing so not sure how they will look

Does that mace look as good in person as it does in the image?

It's fantastic! It takes longer to arrive, but you get a tighter fitting model (I've ordered it for the last two Drawn-Steel-Heroes Gunslingers I got) and it's less "creasy", so painting it without having it look chalky is easier.

It still needs a bit of polishing/sanding for rounded parts, but flat areas are very smooth. And you'll still want to use a primer on it before painting, it helps. WSF drinks paint and since it acts like a sponge, it never really dries and always rubs off.

A primer coat on polished pretty much solves that issue.

I'll post picks as soon as my Gunslingers are all painted.

BTW, I'm the one behind the "G2 Productions" shop. Sadly, I don't know much about the "nettiquette" around this forum, so I mostly ghost, hoping to stay out of trouble. :)

@XSilverboltX- you've got some excellent stuff up mate! I didn't notice the head upgrades before, might have to look into those when student loans hit.

I dunno whether anyone rendering-savvy has any free time at the moment, but there's something I'd love to see but don't seem to be capable of producing myself. Namely, open hands to replace the closed-fist ones on the the classics lambo and fairlady figures. I was fiddling with them earlier and forced one of Wheeljack's onto Bluestreak. Looked absolutely perfect!

It's something I'd love to do myself, but I'm just not capable of...

@MasterBlaster - I haven't tried hands yet but I do plan to make a set to alter Universe Ironhide/Ratchet's hands from opened ones to opened versions that can hold the 5mm pegs of most guns. I'll look into what you are talking about at the same time, since it ought to be the same basic principle.

In the mean time, this came in today. I was pretty happy with it, it's the first large custom item I've made with Shapeways.

I kept hoping we'd get a Transformers Club Exclusive of Star Saber built around the Classics Jetfire mold... but frankly, I'm starting to think I should just make my own :)

And, for the hell of it, finished versions of the "Matamore" upgrade for Classics Cliffjumper and "Emergency Alert" for Generations Red Alert.

    What errors are you getting?

And I fixed a slight problem on the Stronghold Sword that prevented production in White Strong Flexible material.
