    They always do that. And from their general discomfort at Botcon, it seems like Hasbro people don't like talking to customers. :confused: 
    I just wanted to add that TRU went bankrupt.

    So the toy market got LESS competitive, not more. Less competition = less discounts (generally speaking). A toy like Predaking is a "premium" item; Amazon will be hesitant to charge LESS. More likely, you'll see the price go up (Amazon doesn't pay much attention to ACTUAL MSRP), especially if the first batch of these sell out.

    Sorry, I'm not being clear: you will still see discounts on these things, BUT the discounts may take longer to arrive than in previous years. It's not even that TRU competed with Amazon on price (they really didn't), but that Amazon will take advantage of the fact that you now have less choices for buying Predaking! :( 
    Are you sure it's Amazon.com? :lol  Is it me, or does Amazon do this thing where they charge MSRP for their first batch, and then raise prices based on the sales. Cause $24.99 seems too low for a site like Amazon (unless the item is sold by a marketplace seller).
    Exigo Distribution (the seller) is reliable. Ordered 2 cheap Berserkers from them and items came mint! :thumb

    Well, just got notice my pre-ordered POTP Predaking from Amazon has shipped and is arriving this Wednesday. If he does go on sale during the 36 hours of Amazon Prime day this week, I will be sure to order another one whatever insane sale price he's going for and returning the one at full MSRP. If nothing goes down, I'm completely fine with the $159.99 and easy free returns if there's any QC issues. Can't wait to get him. :)

    RiD Platinum Bumblebee / Grimlock set for $31.98 on Amazon. That's the WFC Grimlock done up in RiD colors. That Grimlock had fetched $50 not too long ago.
