Not sure $128 is fair (would be nice if cheaper), but I paid around $150 for the Metro reissue, so at least this price is more in line.   Yowza... there goes an extra $128 I didn't wanna spend this season!

ya, that's what I heard. my brother got a center in TN a couple years ago and talked about the taxes on Amazon for him. This must be a pretty recent thing here in Mich. Since I order like once a month it seems from there. I was surprised to see the Tax added on todays order....Guess I'll have to factor that in now when comparing sites (mostly Ebay with Amazon).

I think $128 (or $125 for me) is pretty fair considering it's the cheapest place to buy it probably other than in store in asia. I told myself $120 and I'd bite, plus I used the Chase Freedom credit card that's doing 10% cash back for Amazon purchases this quarter, makes it even better.

No offense, but I HATE it when people compare prices to MSRPs. I'm talking about real VALUE, as determined by material/development/marketing/etc. costs. This is a collector's item and I'm generally against charging premiums because your customers are so tolerant of high prices.   I think a lot more people would buy Trypticon at <$99.

Unclear. I think most of the TF e-tailers don't bother with special Monday sales, so don't count on anything beyond what's on sale for BF weekend (which they sometimes extend into Monday).
