I think Amazon stopped doing price match for a while, it's not true?

 

They don't take a customer emailing them asking to price match, but their software watches Walmart's website and often auto matches stuff they have. Walmart's website does the same thing for a lot of stuff too, at least during the big holiday season.

 

Diecast is correct. Sorry, I used the wrong terminology. I meant what he wrote: Amazon prices tend to follow Walmart prices.

Incredibly irritating, imo, because Amazon used to offer some decent BF deals. Nowadays, the "deal" is free shipping, but we could probably save more by paying the shipping in exchange for more competitive pricing.

The main point: if you see a good price on Amazon OR Walmart, you can check the corresponding competitor to get the same item at the same price (usually). This comes in handy if you haven't hit the free ship threshold on one of those sites.

 

Target has lowered prices on a bunch of ML stuff. Some examples below:

Most of these aren't worth full price, imo, but the discounts make them a lot better!   KEEP IN MIND: tomorrow is that 15% off coupon, and it will likely apply to these.   We'll see...

It's amazing that most of these were clearanced from the stores during the summer at 70-75% off and yet are still sitting in the warehouse. I miss the days good ole times of 7-8 years ago when Target still remembered how to do clearances correctly.

 

Amazon is having the same deal, but I canceled with them and bought them at Target since they were cheaper there! Thanks!

I saw the Amazon coupon, might take a look at Target, but since I discovered Instocktrades.com this year, I buy almost all my comic collections and omnibus volumes there for 42%-65% off cover. Most omnibus volumes are 50% off the week they come out.
