I know I don't remember seeing him for less than $100 and I know he didn't show up at Ross or TJ Maxx. At least not locally anyway. But the cheapest CW Devastator is when HTS switched to its new website format and I guess a programming error mispriced their SDCC version of CW Devastator to dirt cheap.

 

You are correct. I remember reading about that on the boards back in 2015. But I think the 1 cent things was the exception to the markdown ha, most everyone else is talking about.

Metroplex Went to costco for cheap.
Devesatator hit $100 price point on amazon during the Christmas season of 2015 (I remember because i was sent the link to a friend at the time)
Fort Max showed up at both Ross and Ollie’s for around $50
Trypticon hit Ollie’s for around that same price (this summer if I’m remembering correctly)/

 

Oh thank God. I tried to go back and find some posts about the 1 cent Devastator but was not finding any. I was starting to wonder if I dreamed that all up.  

Yea, I know a pricing error is not the same as discount closeouts but it was still the cheapest Devestator I ever remember seeing....or hearing about. I missed out on that so I didn't actually see it when it was 1 cent.

 

It was Costco.

 

Just a reminder if anyone missed out on all those badass deals, the superior Unite Warriors Devastator reissue can still be had through Amazon JP for like ($20?) over the inferior 2015 MSRP CW Devastator price, and pretty much half the current MSRP of the inferior-inferior SDCC one.

Yeah...SE locations didn't get it. Or Metroplex. I was bummed as hell (Costco employee here). We're getting a remote-controlled vehicle by Jada this year. Woo hoo...

 

There is a store called "dirt Cheap" something like that that had cw devs for closeout prices, i remember this being mentioned years back. Not well known, but a regional closeout store.

 

Yea, I found one for $60 from there.

 

Surprisingly toys r us actually let me pricematch when Costco had metroplex. Unfortunately I didn’t have the same luck with devastator

 

It was Canadian Costco. I don't think we even got Devastator at Costcos in the US.

 

No wonder I remembered I got it for 70 CAD, but I thought it was at ToysRUs.
