Lemme start off by saying that I'm a Seeker collector and I may get a little more excited by Seeker stuff than others. I was looking around KOToys last night and found this in their forums section, kinda interesting.

They're supposed to be the high quality plastic like the clear SS they did. I snagged a set and I guess I'll see though huh?

 

How do they taste?

Think it was like 80-90 a set, kinda pricey but I'm a junkie what can I say.

 

Make sure to do a review. I've heard of clear Starscreams falling apart. I'm gonna wait for the solid colored ones..

  That was the first thing that came to my mind too.

 

They would look so much better with painted heads/black helmets, it would make them look less gummy

 

think if i understood the thread on the there right, they're supposed to come with a painted head and one cast in the glow in the dark plastic to match the bodies so that you can choose which one you want. Think there was also talk of a solid color set coming too.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the classics seeker mold, but those three are just dang ugly IMO.

I agree that a black head would improve their look, but not by much...

Only as yet unreleased seeker I'd go for would be Sunstorm. Anyone know if there is a decent KO of him in existence?

 

Eh, not thrilled about the colors. They look more like gummy-bears than Transformers. Plus, their colors do not seem to represent the cartoons very well.
As for Ghost, I'm glad I have my Henkei, he seems very durable.

Yea after looking around a bit more, it looks like they also did a set of clear Coneheads to go with their original Crystal SS too, not too bad  

 

Those clear coneheads look sweet, but if there anything like clear SS there as fragile as porcelain

 

Clear Starscream is fragile? I haven't had any issue with mine.

I'll eagerly await a review on the "Rainmakers", if the quality is fairly decent I'd be tempted to snag a set if I can afford it.

 

No sale. Call me when there are solid ones.

 

You want to know what the sad thing about this is? That Acid Storm looks more like Acid Storm than the official Acid Storm toy. Not making him quite as acid green as his cartoon appearance is fine, but giving him a camo pattern instead of the stripes was just stupid.

 

clear seeker mold sucks...mine came with broken off wings..not worth spending the money on those IMO

 

Solid ones with black heads and at least a modicum of paint on the chests = yes, plz. These = no thx. Certainly not at that price, anyway.
