Yeah, it's a shame nothing was done with Final Battle Convoy. Although it was the only way you could get him in Japan, as there was no separate release of him. So I guess they figured the repaint was enough.
I'm interested in this too if you ever find someone. I saw a ko of this made years ago and looks awesome.
The only custom parts place I found that made one was Transrepro, but he's still trying to get back on his feet last I heard. Every now and then I'll see someone who casts G1 parts and I'll pester them about making a clear Firebolt but no luck so far.

I'm thinking of hunting down some of the crystal figures...I'm already regretting not picking up a God Fire Convoy set when I had the chance. Anyone surprised we haven't received a Crystal MP Convoy from Takara? The Sleep Mode/"Corpse" Convoy would've been a great opportunity to do it since that came with a clear trailer as well.
im planning to buy a ROTF leader class CRYSTAL/CLEAR optimus prime how much would you pay for it if you were the one buying it? and any issues with crystal figures?
That is a freaking awesome shelf man. I never did get yellow Magnus either, he was one of the few old ehobby figures I missed. I shall rise to the challenge! This guy is probably my favorite, in part because it took so long to get one. ... enough for now

Haha, that was a great day! Finally getting that in a big trade... then later finding a second on ebay for like $10 Thanks I would if I could, but both figures are currently pretty buried. I don't think it would look too different though.
My fave crystal figure well sorta would be HOC Grimlock,he is so cute like that.But since we are talking about actual transforming tf's I would say my DOTM Scanning Ironhide from TRU as he is my only mostly clear fig I own.
