I know the Generations stuff is already available some places (lucky bastards), but what's the general due date for that and the Hunt for the Decepticons line for the US?
Pre orders are announcing availability in August. so end of August/early September is when to start looking for em on the shelves.
Generations Wave 1 is due out at TRU this coming up tuesday, i do not know of anywhere else, i hope it is at my wal-mart as well.......i don't want to go to Allen, Texas to get them for a little over price
I'm gonna laugh at all the butthurt fans that don't get their toys on Tuesday. If there was an official "due date" Walmart would have already been "accidentally" putting their stock out and fans would be raging on here that they can't get them til -insert date here-. As what happened last year with ROTF. OP, bank on sometime in the next two months.
HFTD is already showing up in stores, so within the next month, maybe two, you should start seeing it. Generations, I wouldn't expect until August or September. As far as I know, that whole "It'll be released with the game" stuff is a rumor. Luckily, we'll see if it's true rather soon.
At this rate, I'm hoping we at least have a chance to pick a big chunk of them up at BotCon next week since there's really no sign of them so far.
hasbro employee said that they were releasing the first wave at TRU to go along with the game release, so we shall see
i've got seaspray and crankstart already...so now i just need thrust and jetblade(repaint of ROTF dirge) and that will wrap up the colllecting for a while.
I was lucky to get WFC Prime and BB from TRU.com a couple weeks back. That satisfied my TF addiction for a short while, but now I want more. So, they can't come out soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
I'd be surprised if these don't start popping up by July. There's been nothing new in months and Hasbro has been showing us a lot of toys they plan on releasing this year. Unless they're planning on cramming everything in just 4-5 months I bet they're right around the corner. And all the stores by me have a giant whole in the TF section. It's like a RoTF ghost town.
Luckily for me (or perhaps unluckily?), so far I'm only interested in Seaspray, Breacher, Thrust and Drift. Haven't bought many toys at all recently... grabbed a Dune Runner bout two weeks ago, but that didn't really satisfy my "new toy!!!!" craving. I DID win an Energon Cliffjumper for $30 shipped on ebay, though... need to get in touch with the seller about it, though, since I'm not very ebay-savvy; I used a BIN and paid with paypal immediately, wanna know when it's been shipped. That's probably all the money I'll spend on toys until I see the aforementioned four on shelves. Or Skystalker. I'd really like to grab that one. Of course, if there's a sudden influx of money (like my girlfriend's approved SSI check that we've been waiting on since March - long story)... in which case, I'll see about pre-ordering or nabbing the Fansproject Bruticus upgrades.
I also got the WFC OP and BB from TRU and that satisfied me for about a week...i'd imagine the release of the new figures is really soon. I can hold out a little longer but im getting anxious lol. I am very happy though that MP Grimlock is gonna be released in July at TRU. Been waiting for that for quite a while
