When creating a thread or post that gives feedback/reviews on a new or modern Transformers toy, please use the TRANSFORMERS FEEDBACK forum. Chances are there is already a thread. If not, it is OK to start a new one in the feedback forum.

Our reasoning behind this is so we can get all the opinions and such in a single thread without members having to search multiple threads and forums. It makes it easy to use it as a reference when looking for opinions on a toy. It also helps curtail having a new thread every other day on the same toy, asking the same questions.

If you want to ask what the general opinion is on a TF toy, search the Transformers Feedback forum for the appropriate thread before starting a new one. If there is no thread for the toy, then ask away.

It's generally a good idea to post full-on galleries of new toys in the feedback thread so members looking to make up their mind can get a good look. That doesn't mean you can't post pics anywhere else (we also have several threads, such as the Cool Stuff thread to show stuff off) but creating a new thread to show off pics of a brand new toy will inevitably just create a second feedback thread, which will have to be merged into the existing one or locked.

I graciously provided a review of the Power Core Combiners that strengthened the need for this sticky as well. However I read it before hand and the terms 'feedback' and 'opinions' threw me off. I figured this was just a gripe forum and looked elsewhere for a forum where people posted reviews.

Do we not have anything labeled 'Toy Reviews' that members can upload pictures and review a toy or series? That's one of the more popular things to do I hear and I'd prefer coming to TFW for people's pictures/reviews rather than root around youtube and wade through 10-minute long intros before the review.

I am confused I found a topic for RTS Windcharger does that mean I am able to post my own review of this guy or not at all or can I only add to their topic cause I already have the photos taken and I don't want to waste my time editing them if I can't post them in my own review?

All text reviews and opinions and such go in a single feedback thread. If a feedback thread exists for the figure you want to review, post it in that thread. If you make a video review on youtube or such, you may post your own video review thread in the video review forum.

So yes, if you want to review RTS Windcharger with pictures and text, just post it in that Windcharger thread.

I'm new to this part of the forums. Is there a specific thread where people can ask for specific photos? If not, where should I start a thread to ask? I need a (series of) size comparison photos of G1 Sixshot and RotF Stratosphere. Preferably each form of Sixshot posing next to robot mode Stratosphere. Not a combo you regularly come across....

Completely depends on the toy. A lot of the 2013 Generations stuff Takara looks a lot better, but on the Animated toys the Takara ones looked ugly by comparison.

Can I complain that the new Beast Hunters line is made poorly? The plastic is a few notches better than model plastic, the colors are outrageous, in most cases the surface is unpolished, and the entire toyline bears no look to the main characters as they appear this season. It took Dr. Wu to make both the Dark Star Sabre and Star Sabre sporting better craftmanship than most of the figures. And the new 12" Optimus and Bumblebee look hardly a step up from something I'd see at the dollar store. Where are the fantasic figures and the leader class? If they intended the toyline to go out with a bang they should've just blown them up with dynamite. I'm so disappointed. The best figures are the supreme Optimus and Predaking. I hardly bought any figures and if this is the future quality of Hasbro, I'm done collecting.

This does not explain why Megatron is a shark in the voyager line? Did he watch too many reruns of Jaws on the Nemesis?

Just picked up Metroplex for the first time ever at Super Sac Con... And, I was actually surprised by how much I liked the Hasbro version! I really wanted the Japanese version, but for now I am more than happy with the Hasbro release. However, I just started putting on the decals last night and I am a bit disappointed in the decals, especially in robot mode. I spent an hour using both a razor blade and tooth pick, so they are placed as perfectly as can be.

However, I noticed two main issues: 1. The decals are not an exact fit in most areas. 2. They seem to cheapen the figure. Anyone else notice these same issues? Is there going to be a Repro Labels Set? Honestly, I'm debating on removing many of the decals.... Which is sad because I was really looking forward to dialing him in with them!

Just before his final internal strife with Unicron, he ran into a guppie. It had large fangs and a mean streak a mile wide ....

Now that I have my first edition prime coming, what's the best version of Prime Megatron to have him face off against? The regular RID version or one of the Japanese variants with the arms microns?

Any of the Voyager Megatrons. To be honest, you might as well get from the RID line and have somebody customize it to look decent at least.

My boyfriend is here right now with his Beastly TF Nightscream that I bought him and holy crap! I cannot get over how HUGE and COOL he is! he lights up and shoots disks and he's gotta be like at least a foot tall! I thought he'd be standard size. 0_0
