So after a fruitless search for Device Label Ravage, I broke down and bought a KO one from ebay. I always thought it looked off when compared to the real thing but was hoping that it was just bad photography and mistransformation. But no, the head is definitely shaped differently and the body is stupidly long. Also I'm fairly sure that the KO is much bigger than the real deal. I've read of people using the KO to substitute for the real thing, so is there another version KO that I don't know about or are you guys just able to look past the flaws? I think I'll just use this guy as an actual USB drive instead of as a display piece. Would appreciate someone pointing me in the direction of the real deal. I'm normally very resourceful on the net, but I'm drawing a blank here. I'm really close to buying the cheetas version and just painting it black.
I picked up the KO also and the decepticon symbol was bright blue instead of purple, totally disgusting, had to reprolabel over it.
Yeah I didn't even mention the paint apps since that's somewhat easy to fix and I knew that going in. It's the mold differences that bug me the most.
does the ko ones come with the same applications cd or something similar? if similar then what would be different.

Oh wow, hadn't really seen comparison pics of the KO and real thing before. Significant difference there, primarily the body length.

Yeah, there are several versions of the KO. I have the second one posted by Angel Magnus, and it is amazing. Pretty much just as good as the real thing, although the joints are a wee bit loose in USB mode (fine in jaguar mode, oddly enough). I love the figure, one of my favorite TFs of all time. I was very afraid that it would be the crappy version, as sometimes they don't even use the correct pics (so I've been told). Also of note, he has a purple Decepticon symbol.
(MODS please don't lock this though I've necroed it as the image links are useful...) I got a long body Cheetas just recently and the auction was showing a doggy type body cheetor so I just through I'd warn people to be very careful when they place a bid and perhaps send the seller images and say which one you want. As they seem to keep lying or unaware about which one they are actually selling. which if they buy them folded up is quite possible I suppose. Anyway the reason I'm posting is I was wondering if anyone has ever seen the nicest of the Knock Offs on the left : (Device Label Ravage is on the right) in another colour like yellow or white as yet ? and I was also wondering what happened to the anticipated Asian reissue of the device label series as mentioned at a Transformers event some months back ? I really like that white leg mould and would love to have it other colours... it's in some ways equal or even better than the legit one. I like the slightly bigger size I even like his head mould and the legs with no holes in them. Doggy-bot is second best and that long body one is as people always say "best avoided".
My only problem with mine is that it's mouth will never close, but whatever it has 8GB space so it fits for my purposes
