Let's imagine someone had a connection that might be interested in making a limited run of custom Pretenders. What colors do you guys think the shells for Thundercracker and Skywarp should be? Keep in mind they would be redecoed Starscream shells, and the original shell did not utilize the regular Starscream jet color scheme. So let's be a little more imaginitive that black/purple for Skywarp's shell and blue/black for Thundercracker's.

Of course the inner bots would reference old school color schemes. Due to the light color of the original Screamer, the inner bots could be dyed in correct colors instead of painted!

Are we gonna get a straight up remake of Pretender Starscream? TC and SW will do me no good without Screamer.

I understand Screamer doesnt have his traditional colors, but the others might tie things up nicely if they did...

 

I'd personally have made the mauve parts on Thundercracker's shell black, with the exception of the sleeves which would have been gray. The shoulder pads and gauntlets would be black though.

Skywarp's looks good, though I'd have done the mauve parts as a darker gray.

That was a quick Hue adjustment on the entire character just to get an idea.

 

The sad part is that I would buy that Action Master Thundercracker colored one in a second...

 

Skywarp's shell could mimick Machine Wars Skywarp's colors and the same goes for Thundercracker with Machine War Thundercracker.
