I was transforming Jetstorm (the Hasbro Ultra version) and noticed that, though the chrome isn't dramatically flaking, I noticed two little dings on the cannon/right chestpiece part where it looks like it could start to flake off, and inspecting all of the chrome closely it looks like miniscule little cracks or something go throughout all of the chrome. The chrome on him doesn't look anything like the Takara Transmetal stuff (immaculate by comparison). Damn it. I've barely touched him since I bought him earlier this summer (not out of disinterest, but I didn't want to manhandle him since I remember Jetstorm was mentioned as a figure whose chrome would flake earlier in this thread), and I bought him sealed too, but unfortunately I'm already worried about the chrome's short-term status, let alone long-term.

Has anyone tried clear nail polish as a sealer for chrome issues like this, to prevent any damage from happening to toys with vacuum metallized parts? I still have to inspect my other Hasbro Transmetals too to see if they're already sharing similar symptoms so soon after being taken out of sealed packages.

I never got one when they first came out because I was a symmetry freak and royally put off by the fact that he had a GIANT LION HEAD GROWING OUT OF HIS SHOULDER.

Needless to say, I've gotten over it  

Anyway, between the full size one I have (Flash version) and the RM size (seen above), the full sized one has considerably more gimmicks to him, but the joints and all else feel a lot tighter on Tiny Lio, and his robot mode holds itelf together better.

A local dealer, a super nice gal. Its not like she has more of them you silly guys.   I even told her it was worth $700, begged her to check ebay, but she insisted...so what could I do?

 

I've thought about it...Max-B's at Toy Arena (last I checked)...but Hellscream seems to be in Thrustor status right now since he hasn't shown up on eBay or anywhere else despite me searching regularly out of curiousity to see the going rate.

 

From where I am, Cyber Beasts were all over last year. Strangely enough, only Max B remains available & I really wondered what happened to 'em rest of the pieces.

Couldn't have sold so fast...Mm..  

 

u can also get the overbite from universe 1.0, its exactly the same only with a con symbol. so if that doesnt bother you and want to pay the big bucks just because it is bw2 hellscream u might save a little.
