My toy broke as soon as it was out of the package!

    What should I do, my Chewbacca transformer broke at the knee after I tried to pose him! His knee just crumbled and broke. I suspect it's gold-plastic syndrome.

    I ordered this from Toys R Us online, should I drive to my local store and return it? Will they give me a refund? I can't believe this, it has never happened before!

    If memory serves from a previous similar thread here, TRU would exchange your figure but not refund your postage if they have to refund you if they don't have that figure in stock.
    I suppose you could go and see though in case they've changed that policy.

    They'll definitely replace it for you. Just bring it to your local TRU with receipt.

    You ordered it online, why not try giving them a call?

    just take it back to tru with reciept or some proof of purchase, they should replace with no problem.

    yeah they will definately replace it if the they have the same figure in stock. However they will not refund your money because TRU retail stores have nothing to do with TRU online as i was told when i got my reissue Perceptor replaced after my online one was crushed when i received it.

    Thanks guys! I got merchandise credit and bought something else with it. This was a real panic moment, because I had never experienced something like this before!!
