Chuck Norris drives Optimus Prime to work.
Looking for anything RiD or Car Robots. Specifically, Fire Convoy, Megatron, and the Autobot Brothers.

2. Retro, i.e. WW2 or Hearts of Steel.
3. Futuristic, i.e. Transtech. photography |

I've always liked toy designs that keep what works and continue innovating. Maybe that's why I hated Armada's toys so much...felt like such a step backwards after RID. TFA taught me not to hold too tightly onto one idea; I know a lot of people hate Animated, and I just feel kind of sad that their dislike of the aesthetic made them hate a show which is every bit as deep as Beast Wars with characters that are just as memorable. Ergo, the next Prime can be a decked-out fully-armed badass like Cybertron or RiD, he can be an "everyman" like Animated Prime, or he could be a jet or something. As long as he behaves like an Optimus Prime, it's all good. It can be in the Japanese anime style, Teen Titans style, or some other style we never thought of, and I'll be okay with it.
That being said: I wouldn't mind if Optimus Prime was a jet next time around. Some kind of vaguely realistic but sci-fi jet like the Macross jets or Classics Jetfire. Something that would be awesome in leader size.

I'd also like a sleeker, futuristic style semi-truck. It worked pretty well with Animated Cybertron-Mode Prime. |

He'd have a sword, a hook, a cannon, a sniper rifle, an axe, a super long blade, and brass knuckles.
AND.
A
JETPACK.
Throw in a kitty arm,jet pants, wing saber boxing gloves, a trailer that turns him into ____Commander, some powermasters, a headmaster,a cape(!),a surfboard, a kissplayer, replacement faces, and a Legion tounge, and we'd have 25 years of TF goodiness in one Prime.
I wouldn't buy him though, I'd wait for his Nemy repaint. MY SALE THREAD! Deluxe$5 Voyager: $10, Ultra:$15, Leader:$25 CLICK BELOW! http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-...bably-got.html |

I'd like to see something more like an armored military-style truck (it could still be red & blue), perhaps a half-track or fantasy truck with tracks like Star Convoy. Perhaps some fold-out wings for a flight mode (though it it looks too stupid, don't bother. )
I'd prefer an all-in-one design, without a trailer (either cab-only, or the entire truck forms a robot like G2 "combat hero"). I never use the trailers anyway. How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end |

So long as he's still recognisably Optimus, and so long as it looks good.
Optimus is one of those core things that even people outside the fandom can relate to, and I don't think there's anything to be gained by going back to the drawing board and starting from scratch.
I agree, Big Rig trucks are king of the road and it screams leader of autobots. I hope they stick with the original scheme. I think firetruck was a great idea. If big rig was not an option I would like to see:
1. Monster Truck (Bigfoot)
2. Full ton dually or suburban truck (preferably Chevy)
3. or... maybe a Tractor
What I'd like to see in the immediate future is a return of the trailer. There can be no topping the current Leader Optimus mold. So if it were up to me, TF3 Leader Optimus would be a smaller scale version of the same truck that now combines with a trailer. Powermaster Prime. Pretty simple. | Quote:

Google them. | I have never seen this before either of these, can you post a link with pics? |
