I just noticed that the Classics Prime mold's gun has wee bits that fold out from the inside. They create a lowere barrel/clip/guard piece. It's also something that I haven't noticed on a number of fan-pics of this mold. It makes the gun look waaaaay cooler.

ROTF Bludgeon's dagger can plug into the bottom of his sword for some Darth Maul action. I just got mine today, and my mind was blown once I realized it.

Yes it does. There's just enough clearance between his waist and the swing bar for his left arm for the gun to fit.

I know what it is, friend. I was just using a more general term so that those who don't know what a wakizashi is would understand what I was talking about.

Did anyone else know that there is a flip-up "lid" on RotF Soundwave's chest that exposes more of his central "hatch"? (The bit that shot out Ravage in the movie, even though the toy is supposed to shoot Ravage from his back.) I just discovered this, and I've been fiddling with it off and on since I purchased it before the movie came out!

It's possible to lean the torso back while standing him (does make his balance a bit tricky) so you get a fantastic view of those three blue circles as he stands. Looks like he means serious business.

    Um, that's how he's supposed to transform. - http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Image:Soundwaverotfpreviewtoy.jpg

and the flap is supposed to go down in robot mode, up in vehicle mode (it exists only to hide his face)

...so I wasn't the only one. I'm reasonably sure the instructions made no mention of either feature. Hiding his second face in satellite mode is a neat trick though. It is true that standing him in robot mode with the flap partly open makes him look a bit like G1 Soundwave with his tape door open.

It also does take a slight nudge to lean the torso back, and it does worsen his balance. If that's how the figure is supposed to be, then, well, then I actually "discovered" another way for him to stand so that his head actually sits on the same level as his shoulders, and I did so when I first transformed him.

I apologize for bumping this thread.

I don't actually own the toys to prove this, but it seems you can put G1 Steeljaw's weapons onto the back of G1 Rumble/Frenzy to give them wings. Wings that probably look better than his own gun-wings.

Very cool, just tried it out with my Shockwave. Awesome thread!

Animated Ratbats feet plug perfectly into the cyber planet key slot on Universe Ratbat. Like it was meant to be...

Here's another one for Animated Shockwave:

You can fully extend his neck while keeping the Longarm face.

Just fully extend his neck like you are going to the Shockwave face, then on the back take the black bit of plastic just under the back of his light piping and flip it up. Viola, Longarm now has a neck. Not really show accurate, but I think he looks better.

Had this figure since it came out, just figured this out a few days ago. Never have seen it on any pics or reviews.

TFA Leader Megs' cockpit can open. The instructions said nothing about it, and neither did anything I read about the figure.
