    TR Sky Shadow:

The gold panels on the jet mode, either side of the tail, which the side tail fins are attached to are on hinges.

They fold backwards to sit much further back, locking onto the sides of the protruding tail, and exposing laticework over a cavity underneath and a Titanmaster peg under each panel.

That's in the instructions (step 18) and on the box, and in the renders.

Ten years later, and I just now realised that the black gimble inside of TF07 Blackout that holds the chest and legs to the back and arms, can actually tab quite firmly in both modes, eliminating the fit issues and making the robot mode a million times more solid.

It would seem so. There's actually two tabs and three(!) pegs inside the panel the rotor is attached to that clip hardcore into the inner black panel. Likewise the panel clips on the opposite side to the inside roof of the Helicopter in alt mode.

The automorph is still finnicky in motion, but both modes no longer feel "stuffed" and are super solid now.

I am sure people found this already, and to those that say "Ohh it's in the instructions" Yeah
    http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/im...o/Transformers_Energon_Grimlock_and_Swoop.pdf It isn't

Energon Swoop's head can be rotated between his legs to make a more solid connection for Grimlock to connect to in Mega Dinobot mode and allow him to stand up straight DSCN1335.JPG
Stock by the instructions, leaned forward for balance DSCN1336.JPG My configuration, standing straight DSCN1337.JPG
My one change, with the Beast head moved out of the way to show DSCN1338.JPG And he can be posed in weird poses now and not fall over,

Not really a hidden feature more of an easter egg. Saw this on tformers and thought it was cool. Nice little nod to that episode.

I like it. Makes perfect sense that being a sailor Seapray would get a forearm tattoo of his girlfriend's name.

Leader Class Ironhide actually has articulated toes if you remove a couple tabs....

    I'm kidding l'm kidding, lol.

But Seaspray's propeller section pops off and attaches to his arm via slot for a melee weapon! Not my discovery, another member found this feature in the Seaspray review thread.

Or, you know, use it to plug him onto a stand like every other figure featuring those ports can do.

Time to resurrect this thread with a question.

Does anyone know about there being a hidden joint on G1 Trypticon that only works in City Mode? Because...I just found it and I am pretty sure I never saw this being mentioned in any review about him.

You're going to need to be a bit more specific than that.

I kinda figured after rereading my post.

Alright, so when you get him into City Mode and split his legs, there's actually a join there on one half of his leg (the one attached to the body) that...actually has a joint where the knee is. This allows you to spread the leg parts out much further in City Mode.

I can provide pictures if need. I will note that this is the Platinum version, but I don't think that makes much of a difference.
