As stupid as this sounds, after years of owning Generations Scourge, I never knew his wings unfolded in robot mode until now.

There's a retool? Is this like the fixed Motormaster hip ratchets? Should I be holding off my search for a while?

Oh, something I just noticed! Titans Return Wheelie has those figure stand holes! Not in his ass (the traditional spot) but look at the inside of his knees. I tested them with a stand, they work!

Also, and this one isn't really a 'feature' but more of a coincidence, but if you open up the front of TR Wheelies car more his knee articulation forms a detail that is very reminiscient of G1 Wheelies car front!

Not so much a hidden feature as a coincidence, but the original G1 Optimus cab can fit into the original G1 Powermaster Optimus trailer's robot mode. Good for if you lost PM Optimus but not the trailer like I did as child.

I wouldn't say it is upside down. But more along the lines of base mode emplacement like all the other TR weapons act as a seated gun emplacement for use with a TR base.

I don't know if this counts, but TFA Blitzwing actually has a molded cockpit seat, and even some wire details on the inside of the canopy. It's really hidden because it's only visible if you take the cockpit apart. Can you guys think of any other figure that has sculpted features that aren't visible without disassembly?

Looking at review videos and pics a lot of people seem unaware that the head crest on both Titans Return Scourge and Blurr can be extended

Out of the top of my head: MP Wheeljack has a face under his mask, MP Optimus Prime has a face under his mask, MP Exhaust also has a face under his mask... All need to be disassembled to see it.

Yeah, hidden mold details are actually more common than you'd think (there's quite a few examples hidden in the posts in this thread).

Less of a hidden feature and more of a 'missed paint app' but TR Blurr has a spot for a faction symbol on the flip down panel that goes into his chest.

Not a hidden feature but you can fit a Titan master in universe cyclonus when he is in his alt mode. You have to sit the master backwards but you can kinda have galvatron Titan master ride in cyclonus as a throw back.

You remember how the vehicle front is stored, the nosecone folds up, into the cockpit. Well, in vehicle mode, that space is unoccupied. But, pics would help a lot.

So I recently acquired SG Soundwave vs SG Blaster set. Takara printed all the details rather than use stickers. Soundwave has something I have never noticed before. He has a counter. It only makes sense now because SG Soundwave has printing to show it. I checked all my Soundwave variants. Even my Cassetteman KO has it. It is molded into the body and just sort of blends in with all the other little details.

Nice find! I wonder how many figures have details like that, like a detail that is really subtle, only for a later reuse of the mold to highlight it, or vice versa. One that I can think of is BIS Rodimus. That figure has a full cockpit with seats, but you can't see it because the windshield is solid red plastic, with blue paint. Originally, the figure had a transparent windscreen, so you could see the seats. Maybe that's why TFA Blitzwing has cockpit details you can't see. Maybe, at one point, they thought about making the cockpit canopy transparent, but decided to go with black. Or maybe the designers were bored, and added some neat sculpting. We may never know.
