Well, I'm going to be in Orlando for the next two weeks starting Thursday (going for a holiday with the woman, will be staying on International Drive).

Are there any good TF spots around there? We went to the Florida mall last year and there was feth all besides a Japanese type anime store place where they MP Megatron and maybe some very Japanese toys. Also, the ToysRus across the road was a bit lame.

So, are there any hidden jems I should know about? Is there a Walmart close by that I'd be able to get to easily?

Yeah the Toysrus @ the FL Mall is pretty weak. If you are staying on I-Drive, there's a Walmart on Sand Lake Road and John Young Parkway. You'll probably see it on the way to the FL Mall if you use Sand Lake Road. There's also a K-mart (ghetto-ish) if you make a left on Orange Blossom Trail if using your using Sand Lake Road from I-Drive.

Well, Walmarts can be found anywhere and Orlando is a big place...

Oriental Trading Co. (if that's what they're called at this point) is an expensive asian import store with a healthy dose of old stock. They're at the corner of Colonial and 1792 next to the CvS.

ACME comics and collectables is probably the best place to go, but you've got a drive to get out there. They're near the corner of 434 and 1792.

You may want to stop by the FL Sightings boards and pose your question there, as it will be seen by all the regulars. Sadly, there's really nothing impressive in the Orlando area to get excited about, e.g., like an awesome import store with tons of TFs.

I concur that orlando has no kick-ass stores. Last time I was at NYC, i was stoked about all the hole-in-the-wall places with transformers. Unfortunately, Not so stoked about the crazy mark-ups. I swear I saw a disney label Red/Blue Mickey Prime for 100 bux and i almost choked on my soda. Even Chinatown's prices were pretty crazy. Thank God for the Internet!

The only "decent deal" I saw was Henkei Rodimus for 25 dollars, but i already had 2 classics Rodimus, so i passed on it.

There are 2 Walmarts pretty close to I-Drive. The one that was already mentioned on Sand Lake Rd and John Young Parkway and another on Turkey Lake Rd, just south of Sand Lake Rd. You also have the Target by the Florida Mall and another by the Mall at Millenia. Japan HQ is still in the Florida Mall but their stock is dwindling quite a bit. They sell more cutesy Japanese stuff than transformers or related toys lately.
