G1 European Exclusives

Just wanted to start a tread about these guys cuz I'm currently collecting them.

So... who collects or has collected them?

Which are your favorites?

I got a few myself. Colossus/Clench (I prefer Colossus as his name), the Predators, maybe one or two others.

And the 4 molds brought over for Machine Wars, too.

Still looking for Pyro/Spark and the Turbomasters.

All in all, I give them a, "They're nice, but unspectacular" rating. They're still very bricky, they still focus on their gimmick. In some cases, it's the worst of G1 and G2 in one: Horrible brickiness and gimmicks, with horrid paint jobs from G2.

I mean, I like my small collection well enough. But I'm also glad I didn't spend a lot of money on them. I think $40 total for my 5 Cons and shipping.
My buy/sell/trade/feedback/etc info can be found here:

I think my favorite so far is Turbomaster Flash...
Love both his modes and his transforming scheme.

I've got all of them; bought a complete set of Euro guys in one shot a few years ago. I consider them "G1.5". Watch out for GPS on Skyquake and Pyro.

Never minded the garish paintjobs, myself.

Can't offhand remember exactly which I've got, but considering I bought any Transformer I saw around that time I should imagine almost all, if not actually all.
Autobloke in everything but name.

If there's a TF I don't have, it's because I don't know of its existence. Or it's a Lucky Draw, as I steer clear of those.

I like this era a lot, though. The Actionmaster Elites, the Motorvators, Lightformers, Predators, Turbomasters, Obliterators, Stormtroopers, Trakkons... it's like a secret line of TFs that only a few people know about. Outside of the large collecton I picked up a while back, I had to separately track down the Rescue Force, the unusual yellow and grey Constructicons, and the color variants on the various cars (Aquafend, Jetstorm, etc...). The Generations book from 2001 is REALLY helpful in learning about these guys.

Outside of this era, I believe the only other items in TF lore that can truly be called "European exclusives" are the two "Transmetal" Beast Wars repaints (Claw Jaw and Spittor) and Botcon Europe Rook. I would have included the recent Chevy Aveo on there as well, but it just saw limited release here in North America. If anyone can correct any of those assumptions, I'd appreciate it.
