I can already tell he is overrated. People have claimed he is ' soo much better' than Voyager Ratchet..he's not. his alt mode is different, which I don't really mind, but his robot mode is definitely NOT more accurate. Way too thin, and the inaccurate kibble is still there, it's just different kibble.

He's definitely a cool figure but not the figure that makes the voyager version obsolete.

I am actually holding off on this figure for the inevitable G1 repaint or a possible repaint in the Animated scheme.

Im shooting out electricity from my air guitar right now in celebration of this toy!!!

I passed on the original V. Ratchet and ended up finding an incomplete one at the thrift store for 4 bucks. I am sooo happy they are releasing this far more cooler version and I wont feel cheated buying another Movie Ratchet.

Now, if they'd only improve Ironhides mold...

Anyone know if Ratchet will be slightly taller than the average deluxe???

I'm pretty sure the slide Hasbro showed at SDCC, you know, the one you attached is an official image.

But don't get me wrong, I'm sure he will be a good figure, and I will definitely get him. But he's just as inaccurate as Voyager Ratchet, just in a whole different way.

The perfect Ratchet toy would be right between what the Deluxe is and what the Voyager is when it comes to robot mode, I guess. :)

I might pick him up, unless something cooler is at the store. He may be a last minute buy, or an impluse buy for me.

I do look forward to it, but he's not a priority for me as I already have the Voyager. Better pictures may make me reconsider.

He's very lanky looking, but I'm hopign it's just the angle. I'll probably pick him up.

hell no, I ain't buying him. No point in getting a DELUXE toy of a character that's almost big enough to be a LEADER class. I don't absolutely LOVE the voyager, but I'm not gonna get the Deluxe unless they make a voyager-sized version of him (which they won't.) I'd probably only get him if I collected nothing but Deluxes and FABs. But I don't. I will miss out on this one. (Don't know WHAT the hell Hasbro was thinking as to releasing a DELUXE ratchet.)

I'll get it, but I'm not exactly "Can't Wait!" about it, especially when compared to Dirge, Brawn, Bludgeon, and Mindwipe.

i never got around to getting a ratchet figure (he and bonecrusher completely disappeared from my area during pretty much the entire movie run, but randomly appeared again one day). needless to say, i almost got him but got the g1 voyager prime repaint instead

...to put him in scale with Voyager Optimus Prime/Ironhide maybe?
