I only discovered this recently, and kind of assumed it would be common knowledge by no. Obviously, i was wrong!

I believe this is actually the correct way of transforming him, as it gives those pegs and hoodflaps into context.

yeah..this isn't so much a fix or mod as it is properly transforming the toy.

Yea, it can be difficult, but I don't find it impossible. If it helps, try to put him in a pose where one knee is forward more, and his knee is bent, so his wheel on the back of his calf can touch the table. Helps to add stability.

Also, remember that his hips swivel, and that can help with the balancing of the front / back weight distribution. Lemme know if it helps you.

Is there an easy way to find "alternate transformations" or "mods" in the forums?

I have tried searching by title, by tag, etc and I can't get good results....

Improved/alternate transformations of toys that I already own is one of my favorite parts of the hobby. It brings new joy to the bots I already own, which costs nothing!

Read post => locate bot from collection => remove from shelf => implement alt transformation => redisplay

Maybe a Mod might agree that a tag/subforum/sticky could be in order? Anyone else?
Slide!

When you're as cool as Slide, everything looks easy.

Yes! Me too!

I wholeheartedly second this!!!
I agree completely, I love finding hidden features. You have no idea how blown my mind was when I found out G1 Starscream's fists could be stored under him in plane mode. I had the toy as a kid, but didn't find that out until I got the WST fig. WHOA! Talk about YEARS of being a hidden feature. haha.

Same with storing G1 devastator's weapons on the vehicles. NICE. I just kept them in a baggie when I was a kid.

And I also agree with having a special thread, cause I too search for them, but fail miserably. The closest thing we have is to look for minor / repaint in the customs.
I SWEAR back in the day we used to have a TF hidden features thread, but I'll can't find it now.

Any mods think adding a MOD / Hidded Feature category to the customs searching or something?
