You simply screwed yourself over by paying however much extra (at least twice, if not thrice MSRP, by my guess) you did to get it now versus getting it a month from now. Quote:

Make title match question/statement. | Exactly. I believed he was complaining about what happened and blaming Hasbro by saying that he was screwed. Thus my comments earlier in the thread. A little classification goes a long way here I think. My Junkion Exchange Feedback Thread |

Would it be safe to assume that seeing unreleased toys from China, expected to come out in the near future, were America bound when they happened to fall off a truck enroute to a port where they would have been loaded into shipping containers, transported overseas, passed through customs, and placed back onto trucks so they could have been delivered to your preferred retailer? If that's the case, seeing unreleased toys on Ebay might be a good barometer to use for predicting when to expect that they will be readily available. |

To answer your question, generally the toys you get from China like this are either extra copies of figures (production samples) that the Chinese manufacturer sends to Hasbro for quality checks to make sure Hasbro is happy with them, or are stolen during manufacturing (lunchtime specials). So in a way it can be a gauge as to what figures may be coming soon but it isn't exact as saying "as soon as this hits eBay it will definately be in stores in 2 months". p for photocomics: #49 The Pit.–*Updated Feb. 18, 2008* Junkion Exchange Feedback |
