    1. Soundwave
    2. Seekers
    3. Devastator
    4. Dinobots
    5. Megatron

Thats what I went after first.

Edit: And don't go to BBTS for these or you'll pay out the ass. Go to the Junkion Exchange or Transformerland.

    Exactly what Bodine1231 said.

I picked up numerous great deals for G1 reissues from board members.

Thanks to everyone that I have made transactions with on the forum for making my collection of robits bigger and better throughout the years. :thumbs2:

Same here. Take your time and search Junkion and post a wanted section. I have found plenty of good deals on here. Make a list of what you want/ need and go hunting. The shipping from BBTS alone will kill you.

And a huge :thumbs2:  to all the members on here that have helped grow my collection.

You could also do MO's. Some of the members on here take MO.

I agree with all the comments. BBTS while necessary for preorder stuff (for me anyway) not so much for G1 stuff. Junkion Exchange is the way to go. I personally do not have a problem with MO as most members do not. The best part of all is that if you find something you like and do not like the price you can always make an offer. Oh and getting back to the other question....
Combiners if you don't have them I love em.

Encore Metroplex isn't that much of a difference in price from a KO one, if at all. I would really get the Encore one (unless that is what you meant to say).

    Shockwave
    Grimlock
    Bumblebee
At least one S1 seeker (Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp).

any of the G1 headmasters are cool. Love the dinobots!!! Seekers are cool also. Any of the base ones like omega supreme are cool. U should check out reviews on youtube of the G1 toys then go from there.

Well, I would hold off on Metroplex and try to order it from another site later or from BBTS when they have a sale. I am not sold on a lot of the KOs, and I know you can find a legit reissue of it for less than BBTS's price (now that you point out the price, $85 is a bit high). Just a quick check and LAFToys has it for $64. It is still a bit higher, but I would rather have somethhing that we know the quality of, atleast IMO. It is nice to combine shipping though.

I do like your choices, I still havent gotten around to getting a Rodimus Prime (not sure why yet) and will be getting one myself soon. I would look into a few cars, or a seeker that appeals to you. I really like the G1 cars myself.

Finally, even though it is a little less expensive, the 25th Optimus Prime is really not a good representation of him. The colors are off, the short stacks, and the quality is just a little off on it. I finally picked up a second one to open from KMart for $21, and it really isn't worth much more than that. It is a very weak showing of the mold.

KO's are best used for line filler or kit bashing. The quality is generally poorer than the original release and collectors don't really know how well it will hold up 10, 20 years from now. The wiser choice is to buy legit figures.

Reissues are fine and I'd definitely look into some of the reissue figures like Soundwave (San Deigo Comic Con that is coming out in a few weeks is a good one) plus 2004's reissue of Hot Rod/Rodimus would be good choices vs. going for straight G1.
