Bruticus sales have dropped!!! Why???

i was just curious as to why bruticus sales have dropped? is it because of the encore? please let me know as i have sold 2 now for 86 apiece, complete, whereas i usually sell them for 120-160 apiece. any help will do.

Probably the Encore.

Hell, I'd much rather have a brand new one than a vintage one.

probably cause this isn't the frist time the set was re-released. Bruticus has seen more re-releases/repaints then any other G1 combiner.

I'm surprised the molds can even be used for an Encore run.

Latest Acquisitions: Battle Droid Commander/AAT, MP Skywarp
Currently Seeking: RPM Jolt/Mixmaster/Sideswipe, Electrostatic Soundwave

This and with the Encore coming out soon, anyone outside of just wanting an original from the '80s isn't buying one.

I sell some and sold 2 of those for 150.00 each about 9 months ago. I have really noticed the recession effects. In the last month and a half activity has slowed way up. I'm guess it's both the encore and the recession.

well the recession hasn't really effected my sales. sales have been great, its just that bruticus thing has got me puzzled. like i figured, its gotta be the encore.

This. You can easily get three different versions of Ruination for under 70 bucks, and now an Encore release of the original Bruticus for around 85. The vintage figure has less and less appeal when the molds are very easy to come by.

I've been meaning to pick up a new one, and it is nice to have a lot of options.
