Yeah, I need a G1 Bruticus and i'm totally waiting for the Encore release.

WIth encore, you get

1. giftset box
2. unused toys
3. you apply the stickers
4. no scratches!

With vintage... you can only hope for the best.

well my favorite besides the original is the snow camo, that fucker is bad ass

The reissue comes new, in a nice display box, brand new off the assembly line. You've got your hardcore fans who want the original, but for everyone else, a reissue is acceptable to them. Perhaps even preferable.

Also, for me, reuses in different colours would not interest me if I did not own a Bruticus - I'd want the original, in the original colours.

Just the way things go. Reissues usually do reduce the demand for vintage.

I guess it's possible, but it could be just the economy in general...

As long as they make reissues I don't have, I would choose it over an original. But there will always be a market for the orginals.

They are all made in China? Whats the big deal. China or Tawian, they come off the sames lines that build Masterpiece, Movie TF's, Animated... etc.

Probably the same lines that built G1 figures 25 years ago.
