Animated Blackout toy

Apparently he has disk launchers. For those of you who saw him, where are they in both modes, and how obtrusive are they?

If I recall correctly, the tail rotor of his helicopter mode is actually the disk in its launcher. It fires out the back end of the helicopter, and that section can either be attached to the side of one of his arms in robot mode or is permanently affixed there-- I wasn't able to tell from the pic. The rotor is oversized, but not so much that it would look out-of-place in Animated's aesthetic.

Well, one caveat to keep in mind is that if the rotor IS permanently affixed to one of Blackout's arms in robot mode, that could be a bit of an annoyance, due to its sheer size compared to the arms. (I expect Blackout's robot mode to be similar to Lugnut's in size, due to his transformation.) It's a decent-sized launcher, I could see it getting in the way of posability/movement quite a bit if it isn't able to be detached.
Otherwise, yes, Blackout is absolutely awesome.

Okay, so Blackout = epic win.

Thank you for the info, Beastbot. Do you remember how accurate he is? Is he the same colors as he is in the show?

Same colors, yes. But accuracy is somewhat moot, as the toy is of Blackout's Earth mode, which was never seen on the show. The headsculpt and proportions were dead on, though.
