I've heard people complain about skids and how he is missing details that make him less movie accurate, especially about his missing gold tooth. I yust got Skids today and after I transformed him, I noticed that... he had a golden tooth! So whats the deal? Does anyone else have skids without a missing gold tooth? Attached are a picture of his head and a mini gallery.

It's a known variant, along with darker versions of Sideways and Breakaway, and Mudflap with a movie accurate "MUDFLAP" on his license plate instead of "TRAX". I've got the gold tooth version.
There is an earlier version of Deluxe Skids without a painted gold tooth. When he's in the package and you look closely through the windshield you see whether or not it's painted.
The lack of details I've noticed regardless is the absence of enough grey on his body. Nothing that some metallic piant touch-ups can't take care of though.
I think there's been more threads devoted to Skids and his teeth than any other toy in ROTF save Devastator.
Just for the record, my new Skids (love him!) and every other Skids I saw at Walmart had painted teeth. Finding unpainted versions is only going to become more difficult.

Yea, I noticed that too. The new ROTF toys seem to lack some more paint apps and are consisted of only a few colours for the whole toy. But atleast they still come out decent.
