ROTF Mixmaster Comparison

I posed the robot to match the concept art. Thought you might like to see how accurate he actually is -

That's it.

I don't care if he's not on sale, I'm buying him.

Still kinda bummed I had to pass on him the other day, after getting The Fallen, this guy was at the top of my list.

Hopefully I can find him again when I have the money.

To be fair to Hasbro's designers, after I read an interview in the last TFCC magazine, the designers and engineers don't always get to make the latest updates to character appearances like movie's CGI obviously can.

For instance, they may have worked closely together with the production designers for the film from the get-go, but once they've already tooled a mold and started production, Hasbro obviously must commit to what they already have past a certain point. For instance, the yellow Rampage as opposed to the red one in the film. Toy production works on a completely different timeline than movie production.

That said, most of the ROTF toys are still pretty damn screen accurate, despite some inconsistencies here and there.

Very nice... I've seen him three times now, but had to pass on him each time. Though, because of that... he's currently at the top of my to get list now... so the next time I have money I should be able to pick him up no problem. Also, that's something I'm really loving about the movie line thus far... I've really had no problem with actually finding a figure I want on the store shelves. Amazing what can happen when you actually handle your marketing angle right from the get go eh Hasbro? ...unlike that nasty little debacle from last year...

I only want one ROTF toy - HA Barricade. If he turns out to be a dud, however, I may just get Mixmaster instead.

I think he is the best voyager from ROTF. Complex to change, awesome in both modes.
