And now I see for sure that a Red Voyager release of Bayformers Ironhide isn't to be, this will be the final excusing nail in the 'why'.
Can we have a red movie Ironhide in Voyager form? "Well, we already have a red Fast Action Battler & Legends Ironhide available, yall should check those out! YEAH!"
*sigh*
If the fandom ever gets another round of those website questions to Hasbro, please, please, please let one of them be on this matter. I'm just at a loss of understanding here. EVERY mainscreen Autobot from the first film had G1 color love in toy form (Bumblebee already had thus didn't need it, Prime had First Strike, Ratchet had Rescue, even that sad little Jazz mold got the treatment) EXCEPT for Ironhide. Even the new guy of Sideswipe is due to see some G1 colored love. And now they pawn off something that should have been around in the first line, and was highly anticipated in the sequel line, off on a FAB & a dinky Legend. It wouldn't surprise me if eventually Skids & Mudflap get G1 paintjobs as well, what else can they really do for a repaint/resell?
