I think voyager blackout was crappy. I think the spinning rotor gimmick made that backpack unable to fold up. If they did a leader they could make a more accurate head sculpt and also have the back fold up so only the rotors themselves were on a hinge to fold into place. having that whole back panel would make a lot of pieces able to become other parts... The rear steering rotor could be on the piece of that panel thing that was his arm so he could have his little spinning arm rotor of death thing. I think they could also do his chest cannon. It would definitely make him more accurate, and he would be a lot more fun to have especially with the only kibble (hopefully) being that rotor piece. about the rotor piece i think that having a button to lock it into place (open for vehicle and folded for robot mode) could improve it (especially not having the darn things collapse in vehicle mode.
The only draw back would be the next series may not have but one leader. and (hoping) that prime and megs will be the leader of the bots and cons (unlike animated) will then call for them to both be leaders like (most ) tf series (but of course not all like armada) |

However, I expect repaints. |

Plus, Hasbro could abuse the hell out of the Starscream mold and make a buncha more seekers from it like last time and every other time we've has a SS mold (except the supreme class one). News Credits: 1 | Wow, I'm surprised hardly anyone has voted for Soundwave or Bonecrusher. A Leader Blackout/Grindor would be nice but Soundwave or Bonecrusher is something I've been waiting for a long time. Those two, plus Starscream (confirmed), are the only reasons I'd buy a Leader. |
