Hi all. I have reason to believe that Starscream with the Megatron Gun is going to be reissues sans the Optimus Prime / convoy fist to hold megatron.
I predict this will either be a Hasbro commemorative reissue tying to the movie or it will be another reissue in the Takara Encore line. Why do you ask? Because I recently acquired a newish prototype of the TFC 9 Starscream with megatron gun. The copyright stamp is the encore seeker mold copyright that is shared by encore starscream, skywarp, thundercracker, and sunstorm!
So this is not the original TFC 9 proto, but instead a different one. To clarify, TFC 9's copyright says 2002, as it was the last of the Starscream reissues of the early 2000's

#2 | | Quintesson Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 630 Location: Detroit Area | The missiles would lead me to believe Encore. Unless the firing mechanism is removed from the launchers (is it?) I would lean towards an Encore release. If they don't fire it could be Hasbro though. | |

I already have SS and have kitbashed 4 other seekers into soldiers for my Destron Air-Force to make a total of 14 (so far) g1 seekers, so I'm not interested in another SS. Protos are pretty cool though, thanx for the pics.
