I just found out that wave 2 of Transformers revenge of the fallen toys are in Canada now. I would just get the fallen and leave Ratchet for voyager,but what would you get first for deluxe? Skids, Brawl, Chromia, Wheelie or smokescreen?

I got all 5 of them from Target who was selling them since May 29. Skids, Chromia and Wheelie are in the movie. Smokescreen looks ok and is a G1 name. I heard they improved the arm joints of Brawl, don't know if it is true.

 

if that is the case I'm going to exchange my Breakaway since he is not in the movie.

 

Skids as I have no intrest in the others.

 

Of that lot Skids is the best with Wheelie a distant last.

 

Going for Skids and Wheelie. and from what you saw it was from Newfoundland.. might be a week or so before Wave 2 hits the other provinces.

 

Everyone, just choose one. Razorwing, you'd be amazed on how fast Walmart's shipping is.

 

I did, they are both on the same level that I want them. So technically, if they are even, they are one. And for Walmart, a ton of Toronto Walmarts don't even have Wave 1 DLX's out. so. there.

 

I voted for Chromia since I've really warmed to it, but Skids is also a logical choice since it's the character in that wave with the most prominent role in the film.

 

Skids may be a tough find once the movie comes out and kids see him on the big screen.

 

Some ToysRUs stores have wave 2 : Skids, Chromia, etc. All deluxe on sale for $8 so that should make the choices easier.

 

Skids is pretty cool. Chromia is probably my least favourite out of all the ones I have got so far. The bike is cool, but the bot mode does not do a lot for me.

 

Skids is an excellent toy and definitely the best in the lot, so I'd recommend that one first. My personal ranking of them:

(1) Skids
(2) Brawl, assuming it's true they fixed the shoulders
(3) Chromia
(4) Smokescreen

- Not ranked - Wheelie, as I haven't opened it yet.

 

Wheelie is not to be underestimated. He's huge in robot mode, and an interesting design all round. Not for everyone, personally I like him as much as Skids, if not a bit more.

 

Strangely, at my Toys R Us, Wave 2 was out before Wave 1. As in, the initial stocking had preview and wave 2, and no 1s, but I found a wave 1 box off to the side.

 

skids. i didn't really care for him one way or the other but once i opened him...skids = win. i dig his transformation the most out of all the deluxes i have picked up so far. mine doesn't have the painted teeth though...doh!
