So, what tf related thing grinds your gears?


Mine: When a person starts to transform a transformer, and they cant do it or something, and then they say, put it back together!!?!!?

I always feel like saying, no dumb shit, your not disasebling anything, you can put it back together, you can only transform it or morph it back to its original state, NOT put it back together!


So, how bout you?

For me: MISSILES. I wish more of them were like Blackarachnia's and were attached by a string or something <.<

 

I stopped buying newer Transformers, because every time I bought one there was something wrong with it. Anywhere from paint apps, loose joints or fell apart as soon as it came out of the package.

 

I guess the one that gets me the worst is that if you have toy in one style that keeps you from having that character in other styles unless you are a Prime, Megatron, Starscream or Bumblebee. Just seems silly we couldn't have a deluxe sized Jazz in Universe because we had one in the movie style and Animated style. Or how Animated gets Blitzwing but Universe and the movie lines don't get a Blitzwing.

Light-piping. Done right, it's awesome, but when the entire back half of a figure's head is translucent, just... bah.

 

well, two kids i know (pretty much a half of my age) can't get it through their
heads that there were transformers before the '07 movie.
i can't really blame them, they're too young to know better.
yet it still irks me when they don't know who soundwave is. (at least that will change. "oh! that satellite?" no! the tape deck! "huh?")
i blame their parents.
at least they have me to guide them. (lucky them...)

 

Remakes of TFs that are worse than the originals ex: Universe Hot Shot.

Also the fact that they will re-issue Soundwave 738427954 times and never Blaster. :/

 

When people say they don't like certain TF series when they've never seen them, or can't get past just one little problem with the series that they don't like

 

You know what annoys me? 25 years and there's no character based on me. I'm not demanding a lot, just a character who's Optimus Prime best friend and is an immortal badass. Optimus Sledge, Sledgimus Prime, Sledgimus Sledge, whatever. I'm not picky, I just want to be put in a Transformers series as the coolest Transformer ever.

Oh, and the lack of an Airwolf Transformer. Come on, who wouldn't love a female Autobot who transforms into a Bell 222 with jet engines and hidden weapons?

 

I'm with Maninthebox. I hate when my mom is like "Can you put it back together?"

I was just thinking about this today when looking at my TFs. All my Classics figures look dead,since their eyes are completely black unless you hold their head against a bare lightbulb.
