Disregard what I said earlier: this is now an official fan-mode thread!

I'll start out by posting a few of my fan-modes:

    Lockdown / Oilslick Powerlinx

    Some sort of... METAL GEAR!?

Modes like RotF Ravage's "Chocobo" mode or Cybertron Shortround's Toilet mode. A TF alternate mode that's not official.

I love fan-modes. You can be creative without losing the original toy.

Wow! Due to him being completely out of scale, Lugnut was the one Animated figure that I wasn't going to buy, but after seeing that mode I don't think I can live without him.

    It's very simple, really:

    1. Fold up his arms like you would if you were to transform him into vehicle-mode.
    2. Make sure that Oilslick looks as close to this as possible.
    3. Attach Oilslick to Lockdown's back by pushing down Oilslick's feet so that they balance on Lockdown's shoulders.
    4. Push the feet in towards Lockdown's head and then down (while slightly bending the knee so that Oilslick's arms and body move a little further up Lockdown's back).
    5. Bend Oilslick's arms forward and position them right beneath Lockdown's folded-in arms.
    6. Final result.
