My fan-mode transformation for Megaempress, to further differentiate her from Pyra Magna.

Still need some fillers to turn the ladder into her in-fiction railgun, but added a pair of cannons(Renderform CW Swindle) to form a sort of pseudo-artillery array. The cab is also raised from the standard lower position.

I wish I picked up a sandstorm afterall... if only for the option of wheelchair mode.

heck, I wish there was a KO of the figure so I could have it be Autobot Megatron!

Halfway through transformation and tealized this looked like the Macross Saga gun tank.

That's wicked! Would it support the weight if you were to extend the arms and legs like you would standing upright? That way, he can pose and have elbow joints as well.

Possibly, the weight is fairly evenly spaced. I suppose it would depend on the joints of the bots you're using as the limbs.

Okay, so this more compact version of UW Afterburners arm mode has been posted before so this is a bit of a re-post.

..but, at least according to the stock photos, compacting Strafe at the shoulder is also technically a fanmode! (The UW instructions themselves seem to actually show this tighter transformation but the Strafe shoulder seems to have been done taller to even out the jut of the bike wheel in the official version.)
    DSC_0029.jpg
With the tighter Afterburner shoulder, Strafe's fighter nose shoulder can be more compacted to match!

    Better combined living through fanmodes!

Huh! That's interesting. It's both awkward AND elegant at the same time. I think I'm impressed.

These guys are a lot more fun than anyone thought they should be. I think this is a rare time when Optimus and Rodimus are considered the underdogs, at least by me. I can’t stop fiddling with these figures in spite of their design flaws. This concept lends very well to fanmode exploration potential. Two of my favorite Leader Class figures no matter what anyone else says.

.......Oh like none of you ever come up with names for your own creations. Enjoy!! :thumbs2:

Two robots pluging together, isn't it always awkward ? And thanks for the elegance ^^

I tried another fan mode on Cloudraker. I wasn't really satisfied with his plane mode. So I tried to put the legs over the arms. It seems more cohesive to me. And the tailfin is more visible this way.

Slightly tangential to TFs but DA-09's got a rather tidy Submersible DSV fanmode even without nabbing any of those modular vehicle parts!

While it doesn't lock in I've gotta say, this looks a lot better than the official.

    Slight revision to submersible mode...

Because like this he fits right in Max's forearm, even with the OP/Octane Twin blaster still attached it can still be closed.

I wonder... Can you fit a titanmaster into that thing? In both robot mode and/or robot mode?

Nope. At least not with the canopy shut. You could probably finagle an open cockpit version though.

Dianauts are SO small, it's incredible that they're poseable at all.

I wanna see a figure so small you need special instruments like tweezers just to pose them.
