Your work has always impressed me, Mr. SteamShield. If only there were a way to acquire Abominus in Alaska.

Looking at his back I wonder how hard it would be to just make a new massive chest plate for him that plugs into the back (facing everything backwards) similar to what PE did for computron

    Mmmm, cloacal.

Have you tried this w slash tho? Isn't the upcoming cindersaur a pseudo-terrocon? (say that five times fast).

Promising. Now if we can incorporate Pounce too, then we have 2 new Terrorcons members. I might get those clones after all since I am collecting Abominus. Maybe try this with Computron with Fastlane and Cloudraker.

    I finally found it.
fortress optimus, a base mode for potp OP's trailer that I like.
    1522792881673.jpg
it has a sturdy central building, 2 access ramps, 4 weapon slots, and cover for orion pax.
the hole in the roof can also be used by a decoy armor or legends class figure for shooting while taking cover.

for getting micronus to sit straight I used the holes in optimus prime's gun.

I think the new Legends comic has a combined vehicle mode for them. Though there are no official instructions on how to reach it, someone will probably come up with an approximation.

Reminds me of his first appearance in the IDW comics. Was not a pretty site.

Pretty cool! Ironically, I love putting my Transformers into Gerwalk mode, but I can't recall the last time I purposely put one of my Macross toys into Gerwalk mode.

The Macross toys' greatest strength is (in my opinion) also its greatest weakness for Gerwalk mode: a transformation in which every part is intended to be a visible part of every mode.

What I mean is, there's barely any kibble or faux parts. In jet mode, for example, the side of the leg isn't pretending to be something else; rather, the side of the leg is what the VF-1's fuselage is supposed to look like. As another example, the jet's thrusters are supposed to look like robot mode feet folded up, so there isn't a need to, say, have thruster kibble on the robot while an actual foot-shaped foot tucks away somewhere on the jet. A Valkyrie doesn't necessarily have messy undercarriage kibble because the bottom of the jet is supposed to look like robot arms and legs.

For the opposite effect, most Transformers do not intend for every part to be visible in every mode. With the DOTM Starscream mold, for example, we're supposed to turn a blind eye to the robot kibble underneath the jet, and his heel isn't really supposed to be a wheel. In the movie, the underside of the jet is a smooth F-22 belly, and his heel is an alien, organic-looking robot heel.

The unexpected benefit, then, is that most jet Transformers have so many pieces of kibble or faux parts, it's fairly easy to transform a leg or an arm out of its jet configuration and still have a jet that holds itself together very securely with many tabs, pegs, etc.

With most Macross jets having every part as an intended part of every mode, there really isn't a lot of room for extra tabs, notches, pegs, etc. Once you swing out the legs and the arms for Gerwalk mode, that Macross jet is now loosely tabbed together and can barely support its own weight. Try to move an arm or a leg, and 5 different tabs suddenly become undone.
