THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD.... I AM NOT SELLING THESE HERE ON TFW2005.COM ok so I recently have joined the eBay world and I'm going to put up some of my stuff for sale but I was wondering how much should I sell them for Alternators Ravage 2.0 MISB Alternators Rumble MISB Target Exclusive Spark Power Bumblebee MISB Target Exclusive Starscream MISB Target Exclusive Spark Power Barricade MIB Movie Premium Barricade MOC Movie Premium Bumblebee MOC and MAYBE Masterpiece Skywarp MIB thanks for the help
I'd probably sell them for: Alternators Ravage 2.0 MISB $30 Alternators Rumble MISB $30 Target Exclusive Spark Power Bumblebee MISB $10 Target Exclusive Starscream MISB $20 Target Exclusive Spark Power Barricade MIB $9 Movie Premium Barricade MOC $10 Movie Premium Bumblebee MOC $10 and MAYBE Masterpiece Skywarp MIB $70 My prices are more about getting the stuff to sell than making top dollar because, quite frankly, I don't care to sit on stuff for months on end to make an extra couple percent of the sale price. If you're more about making money, these prices are low.
You could always set each at $9.99 and let the market decide. Otherwise, Soundblaster's about on the money.
Selling separately often = more dough overall, but selling as a lot is the faster way to do it. It all depends on how desperate you are. Alternately, you could always try selling them to one of the on-line toy shops. I do that a lot and make decent money and I don't have to deal with e-bay, which, more and more, is a colossal waste of my time. Honestly, though, I'd first try to sell them to fellow fans here. I find I get better deals that way and I build relationships simultaneously (awwww.... ). Buena suerte!
i'd test the forums before i go ebay. paying a listing fee, plus ebay gets their cut, and paypal too. i'd rather sell it a bit cheaper and possibly faster on the forum for free. that's what i do w/ laptops and computer hardware.
With those particular items, you'd almost have to sell them individually. There isn't too much there that goes together.
ok update i got an offer from BBTS to sell Alternators Ravage 2.0 MISB Alternators Rumble MISB Target Exclusive Spark Power Bumblebee MISB Target Exclusive Starscream MISB Movie Premium Barricade MOC Movie Premium Bumblebee MOC for either $102 money or $125 store credit should I do it or take my chances on eBay???
Take it and run. Nothing aside from the Alternators would come close to earning more than retail these days anyway. It's an especially sweet deal if you go with store credit, since shipping's on you.
i agree, go with BBTS. thats all i do now with Tf's and gijoes, send them straight to BBTS for store credit and wait around for TF's that i want. its a much better way to turn something old into something new. i sit on ebay all day, (literally ) and i really dont think of that stuff you have would move, the movie stuff anyways. alternators/binaltechs always sell, just depends on pricing. bbts is the way to go man, 125 sounds good too.
I also agree. There are no definites that you would sell them all either, So as the old song goes....oohhh, come on, take the money and run.
If you don't have at least a 15+ rep on Ebay I would sell them to the board or to BBTS. I know it took me several sales before I would get close to market prices selling on ebay. good luck though
I'd take the credit offer from BBTS. I have had more success lately by just putting Buy-It-Now's on eBay and letting them sit for a 30-day run. Sometimes I may give it a higher price but let people make best offers. To me, it has been a pretty good way of selling as of late.
Ebay is like putting your hand in the shark tank. Feels good at first until you pull the stump from the water. Go with the BBTS offer, and best of luck. I personally would have given you a good deal on that Rumble, and mad props on TFW, but their offer is better.
do they take MIB deluxes? I have a near complete animated set I have been try to get rid of in one lump with all packaging and instructions but they have all been opened and repackaged. Only problem is th deluxes can't be resealed but the bubbles are still attached to the cards. Will they buy them like this?
