does anyone really bother with blitzwing's jet mode on his voyager figure?

it just seems pretty weak since you can see his tank treads and everything...most people who review it on youtube(or some)comment it as being the weakest of the three forms (robot being best and tank being second best i think)

so do any of you blitzwing owners actually leave him in jet mode or even look at that mode anymore? i know its not that bad but it just seems like it brings poor blitzy down a lot

I was just tinkering with it this morning. Sure, it's not perfect, and it seems to be an afterthought, but it does convey the feeling of a fighter jet. So, I really can't complain.

His robot mode is the clear winner here, what with the facial gimmick and all, and his tank mode is nice and solid.

As is, I can't find too much wrong with the figure, he's quite awesome for a $20.00 figure with three modes and forced to stick with the Animated aesthetic. (Awesome, but difficult to replicate in plastic.)

To be honest, I don't really play with him in jet mode. I transform him sometimes into jet mode, but not alot.

I don't bother with either of Blitzwing's modes since they're riduculously terrible. I regretted impulse buying the toy in January and I put it in the dark back corner of my display shelf and haven't touched it since. Such a terrible toy.

Sorry, gotta vent about that one.

I know that TFA is seriously cartoony to begin with, but i didn't buy blitzwing because he looked like a caricature of a cartoon.
i wish the designers had looked at the G1 version just a bit longer for inspiration.

(and i am not going into that G1 vs. the world stuff. Just look at G1 Broadside and TFA Blitzwing looks pretty swell.)

in fairness, 2 out of three isn't bad, but when when you are buying a triple changer, you kinda hope for a hat trick...
i would keep him in bot mode and try to forget the jet mode- if i had one

Feel the same way. While i don't fully regret getting him, i do regret getting him at full price. I don't care for either alt mode, and leave him in bot mode the whole time. I love the character, but the figure just did live up to the hype in my opinion.

Tank mode is pretty cool, super compact and cartoony. Jet mode isn't the best but still decent enough for a triple changer.

Fragile? Seriously? There are quite a few things to say about Blitzwing, but fragile isn't one of them.

    Tall? Check.
    Floppy in spots? Check.
Tolerances pushed to the limit? Check.
    Fragile? Not so much.

Due to my animated space getting cramped most of them I just leave in bot mode.

But I like the modes, triple-changers always have a drawback to them and hes damn close to the show so I dont mind it one bit.

Every time I pick him up I bring him through each mode. OCD maybe?

I find Jet mode alright, sure the treads in jet mode sorta ruin it, but after fixing a factory error (turns out is upper arms are on the wrong side, an easily fixed problem that makes the Jet mode much better) I find it's alright. the bot mode is dead-on the show model, though, so I just usually leave him like that.

Blitzwing is one of the greatest Animated toys IMO.

His jet mode isn't the greatest but it is passable IMO.

Yeah, jet mode isn't the strongest, but I really like him quite a bit, and I do occasionally use the jet mode.
