How is the Activator's vehicle mode so much better than the deluxe with those gaint back hinges at the back?


I don't understand the hate for Deluxe BB, he's in scale with a lot of other figs, he's got an awesome transformation scheme which certainly beats the Activators (then again, the Act. is more about the flip gimmick, which it does very well) and he has stingers and boosters.

 

Right now I'd say Activators. The shade of yellow is more accurate and more pleasing to the eye than the Deluxe one's faded yellow. One thing I do like is the Deluxe one's lightpiping though.

 

accurate, schmackurate...it's always about being accurate. How about which one is more fun. Activators are cool cause they transform at the push of a button. But I hate the whole accurate discussion. Optimus had two different color light bars in the cartoon and not the toy. Everyone likes leader bulkhead, but he doesn't have missiles, buzzsaw, or escape hatch in the cartoon. And Lugnut is like 4 times too small. The funny thing is i like them all. So if all else fails, buy them all. mahahahahaaaa.
