I haven't seen him in person yet but, I have seen Peaugh's video review and some a pictorial review. Based on those I ordered him and Waspinator as soon as they became available again. I think he's full of win and I can't wait to get him!

Move Fast, Pwn hard or . . . . run and hide!

I passed on him. He looks neat, but I already have the original Prowl. It's a good enough toy for a character I don't like.

Point of interest as i have mine here on my desk, there are nonfunctional ninja stars, so a quick mod if you have both original and anisami flavor is to steal the stars off original and swap them in. guess they did that to keep the original um...original. I am dissapointed with the helmet articulation (aka none). Also Sami seems to have slighty more flexible plastic in his hands this time around, i cracked a thumb on the orginal when it fell over with the star secured, this time no issues.

But overall this figure is why the line should continue. Amazing engineering.

I bought him and like him, but I'm not extremely impressed. Prowl has always been the best toy for posing with Animated, but the armor pretty much eliminates that. It looks nice but takes away a lot of playability with the toy, IMO.
This awesome sig created by Poho!

I went from passing on him to wanting him and now back to passing on him. The armor isn't worth it to double dip for me.

He isn't bad, but like was said earlier, the helmet restricts head movement and the shoulder armor restricts arm movement (and is only good looking from the front). Also, the leg articulation isn't as good as the original.
On the plus side, I do like that the back panels rotate up. Makes for a sleeker-looking regular bot mode.
