Based on those I ordered him and Waspinator as soon as they became available again. I think he's full of win and I can't wait to get him!

Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 253 Location: Quincy, MA Collection Count: 50+ | Point of interest as i have mine here on my desk, there are nonfunctional ninja stars, so a quick mod if you have both original and anisami flavor is to steal the stars off original and swap them in. guess they did that to keep the original um...original. I am dissapointed with the helmet articulation (aka none). Also Sami seems to have slighty more flexible plastic in his hands this time around, i cracked a thumb on the orginal when it fell over with the star secured, this time no issues.
But overall this figure is why the line should continue. Amazing engineering.

Prowl has always been the best toy for posing with Animated, but the armor pretty much eliminates that. It looks nice but takes away a lot of playability with the toy, IMO. Also, the leg articulation isn't as good as the original.
On the plus side, I do like that the back panels rotate up. Makes for a sleeker-looking regular bot mode. | |
