It is confusing as to how many upgrade sets are out or coming soon. It seems like everyone is making trailers, Quintessons, and cassettes. I've searched around for a list, but haven't been successful.

Please post to help to make a list of the after-market upgrade sets/figures, the makers website, and release date. KO's or direct non-Hasbro reproductions are generally not included in this list.

There was a metal Sword for Superlink Megatron made for a show in Japan.
There was suposedly someone making barrel and stock extentions for WST Megatron based on the ones Takara never released but I was never able to chase them up.
Someone made a figure of Ai / Tai from Car Robots for a Japanese convention.
And some one made plugs that enabled Enegon Optimus' Drones to be used with Stormjet/SteamHammer/Barricade.
A long time ago someone used to make Ramps to link non-compatible bases like Scorponk to Micromaster bases.
There was new guns and accessories for Brave Maximus too.
And repro Targetmasters for the Black & the Clear Red Hot Rodimus and also a tiny Targetmaster (Firebolt) for the WST Hot Rodimus.

Perfect place for me to ask about this! Some time ago an add-on kit came out for Powermaster Prime. It included new arms, new wings, a new head, etc that all looked a lot better that the original pieces. However, the certain original pieces had to be removed and the new pieces attached. The new pieces were molded in PVC plastic, I think. Here's a pic of most of the pieces:



Anyone know who originally produced this kit and how many were made?

Also, if anyone has this kit, or knows where I can find one, either loose or attached to a PM Prime, please PLEASE PM me so I can buy it from you!

From what I remember, Big Bad Toy Store bought the entire run of this kit. It didn't sell well, as they had it on major discount at one time.

 

I think those were customs casted in resin and not made by a company but a fan.

If memory serves, the pieces didn't simply snap on, they had to be shaved/modified to fit properly.

This is great... It was only a few days I was wondering if they had something like this in the resources section. I actually started to make my own list, but I didn't get all that far with it.

I'll have to say there's been some nice stuff made over the years by fans.

 

Best Toys and BTSToys are the same group I believe. You can probably merge those.

And under TFC Toys, the Starscream Coronation Upgrade set is also being made into a Skywarp Coronation Upgrade set.
