I would, but it's a very pricy mold and the RID toy had some stuff cut from the original and it still cost alot! Not many would be produced or be profitable for the companies.

Pass. I had the original for a while and was unimpressed. It's big, but has little else going on with it. Bring on new stuff!

Who would buy it, when there are complaints about how expensive the $95 Encore Bruticus is?

While I'd love to own one, just looking at the price for the Combaticons tells me I'd never be able to afford even the reissue. *sigh*

Won't happen domestically. The RiD Fort Max wasn't able to be released Stateside because it didn't pass child saftely laws (I.E., in the drop test it shattered into pieces a kid could choke on). That doesn't mean Taktomy couldn;t do it, but I can only imagine the cost of an Encore Fort Max.

I agree with everyone else here. Price would be the major downside, but when you're talking about the biggest toy in the entire franchise, a high price would be expected. Hopefully it would be less than an original Fort Max though.

Although I'd love a G1 Encore box, I have the Car Robots version so I'm good. I'd like to see people who don't have him to get another chance though....

We probably screwed ourselves by not buying enough Metroplexes and Omega Supremes. I mean, I wasn't part of the mob demanding either, but it doesn't help make any of our other requests look sincere either.

I have Brave Max, so I would pass. But it would be nice for those who don't have the mold to get a shot at it.

I wish. I traded mine for a Sega Genesis in the early 90s. At the time it was a hell of a trade, but I want one back (for less than 500 dollars that is).

On another not, why does someone always have to complain about a thread about a Transformers toy that a lot of people like being discussed regularly on a Transformers board? If you dislike it so much, try and get a thread stickied for it.

I'd buy one and pay in the $250 range, but I'm not holding my breath. It's by far the figure I want in Encore the most.

I'd primarily want an Encore Fort Max released in the hope of an ehobby Grand Max. Even with the exclusive mark-up he'd still be MUCH cheaper than a vintage one.

The title was kind a misleading..... but I wouldn't mind having Fort Max re-release just like the original japanese release with the mastersword. I have two brave max and spent on ebay acquiring the mastersword and complete accessories for both of it. I like the color scheme on Brave Maximus a lot better than Fort Max but if they release it Im buying it.
