I bought three powerglides and three stormclouds. But I'm nuts for universe.

The storm cloud repaint is very cool. "mm-88"

 

I envy u dearly, haha I wish i could get that many.

 

I hate Powerglide. I really can't stand him, but Stormcloud's colors are pretty awesome.

 

It's a pretty cool mold, I like it a lot.

For a Warthog, yeah, Ultra class is more appropriate, but I couldn't get over a minibot being upscaled so much... though odd I don't have any problems with a Micromaster jumping even more sizes.

That said, if you're interested, go for it. I think he's cool, and he can bolster your Classics/Universe decepticon ranks. I'm glad I got him over Powerglide.

 

I've passed on both Powerglide and Stormcloud numerous times. But that's just my personal preference.

As Powerglide, I definitely would have picked him up if he were a deluxe. Nothing to do with the price point (but it helps), Powerglide just was never a big guy (size-wise, not popularity) in the cartoon.

As for Stormcloud, he just never caught my fancy. It's another Decepticon, sure. But in my head it's still a repainted Powerglide, which wasn't Stormcloud's G1 mold either.

Should probably be noted that I haven't liked a single Ultra yet in this line.

 

Powerglide all the way. Storm Cloud is a repaint loser.

I picked up Stormcloud over Powerglide. I am a sucker for purple and black TFs. Also the plastic on the wing joint is much better.
